On Jan 21st 2015 the live twitch.tv/twitch  broadcast at 9 p.m. central time, Joey Cuellar(AKA Mr. Wizard) announced an impressive, very surprising,  and unprecedented game lineup for the Evolution tournament series in mid July 2015. Ultra Street Fighter IV, Guilty Gear Xrd, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Super Smash Bros. Wii U, Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat X, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Super Smash Bros Melee, and Tekken 7 all took the now 9 coveted spots at Evo.  Mortal Kombat X and Tekken 7 are still not out, but according to Mr. Wizzard arrangements and plans are being made in order for people to be exposed to the game(s) before the tournament.

Sadly, “The King of Fighters XIII” will not come back to Evo this year and this year’s lineup brings many, many questions to mind.
