I think ratio tournaments are reactionary, they don’t exist if there wasn’t an issue with the same characters showing up to begin with. Luckily that seems to be mostly a Japanese issue and in certain games. Esp with 2k2UM, K, Nameless, Kasumi on every team.
I still wouldn’t mind seeing one outside of Japan now and then.
it’s unfortunate you have to put in a ratio tournament just to have them comply anyway.
they’ll still get bodied by bala when they come to the us and try to pick their top tier characters in our non-ratio tournaments.
Ratio matches, like it. I know some ppl who pick tiers won’t though.
Not about seeing the same characters all the time. Having said that most USA tournaments don’t seem to be Mr.Karate heavy except for the Japanese players. I guess this is a way for forcing them to comply lol.
