However, much like the 98UM and KOFXI that were released recently, these are likely to be PSN Asia exclusives – or maybe just Japan and Korea!

We have to wonder why is it now suddenly we have all these PS2 ports to PSN? And not to the west?  Then we look at the following tweet from SNK:

And we can see the western market is being treated very differently. Remember the poll by SNK? Here are the results (poll is still open btw): results poll2 The voting shows that the fighting game community is active and arguably they do actually buy games, and so it seems SNK now has more faith in selling Garou Mark of the Wolves. Note that they didn’t specify which platform, but to us it seems clear we are talking about STEAM. With a competent team behind the netcode, this could be a success, although we have yet to see how people can deal with KOF2002UM BC combos and GAROU Just Defend online, much like parrying. Saying that, HD combos are evidently possible online with KOF13, having personally eaten quite a few from Karate…
