#KOFXIV at PAX, Do you want more in depth tutorials? #KOFXIII
ON.TSS.Atma has been creating tutorials and very in-depth videos from the point of view of a really technically minded player.
He goes on in this latest video to explain some things such as what to do with counter hits, tech rolls and the meter system. It’s very long but valuable, you’ll be surprised at the info on Vice.
He asks whether you (the players) would like more in depth videos on characters, even though people are now pretty much over KOF13 and waiting for KOF14.
It’s a big time commitment and of course he could save his energy for the next game…
What do you think? What would you like?
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.btw KOFXIV will be at PAX, more info here, which will happen 22-26 April, over the same weekend (but not weekend) as SNK’s twitch stream! (thx MMCAFE)
Oh and here’s our latest design
Don’t forget to vote on the fate of this site
I wonder if we see more new mechanics thier a Nemo sad that was the only thing he didn’t cover when he did the Famitsu video.
Very true, but editing takes triple the time, and in times like this, a live one-take ramble is definitely better than nothing. If more kids turn up with the arrival of kof14 with lots of polished tutorials then we can all sit back and put our feet up!! Here’s hoping!
It’s not just depth, presentation matters. A lot of tutorials feel like 1/3 of the time is spent on someone thinking of what to say, the umms and ahhs. DandyJ’s is still the best because it makes its points, uses clear examples, and doesn’t waste any time about it.
