Team Ninja have officially released the arcade version of DOA5U all over Japanese arcades today.
The arcade features a minor balance update from the current home version (along with some bug fixes) as well as the new previously revealed character Marie Rose.
As far as unlockables go, it seems that the costumes will be unlocked by a certain puzzle system where you get rewarded a piece for every few wins until you unlock the entire pieces for a certain costume.
Earlier this week, TN also released a quick tutorial for those interested in learning the basics of the game.
Will the arcade release help put DOA out on the map in the world of competitive fighting games … at least in japan? only time will tell.
