Oh lets say since i put that code in i have played about 20-30 people so when i’m saying 100% smooth online its between that many different people.
Well thats my experience.
Since i locked the frame rate to 60, have it run in window mode & something else to do with locking out other videos whilst running the game, its been like playing in the arcade to me. I’m not too fussy about 5 frame this & 3 frame that complainers.
Bottom line is if you can get good at this version i’m sire you can play offline the same, its that good.
If you have a good specs and you have lag still, do this.
1/. Go to steam games library
2/. Right click on the king of fighters XIII game & go to properties
3/. Click set launch options
4/. Type in “-r -v”
This changed the game from having lag on 60% players i played, to now o% of players having lag. If i have lag now i assume the other player hasn’t done this yet.
This is of course on 3 & 4 bar connections which i get plenty of. Managed to play players all over EUROPE with great success.
Although the only downside is sometimes the connection can drop before the game comes on or when selecting your character.
The Australian scene was being held together by a few dedicated people before SE. Now that we have a decent online ground to play on, hopefully we should see an uprise in its scene. Just so glad to see this game be where we were all hoping it would be *sniff*
I’m playing the heck out of it. No idea how long it’s gonna take to even play my way through my friends list now. Even from Wales I’m getting good connections with Morocco and Gibraltar. Next to try France and Belgium!
