I honestly don’t know what is wrong with some of you!? Too lazy to try and get a free figurine?? Karma won both figurines, here and on the facebook page by the solo entrant!? Talk about an easy win!

Well played Karma. I felt bad when the post had no comments after a week, but I figured it would look too greedy if the previous winner tried again.
About the downvoting, yeah the system makes it easy to skew votes since you can upvote or downvote anything once. I’m not going to lie, instead of voting for myself I downvoted everything else because I figured it was the same thing (and if you think about it, it’s not even as effective). Then I realized that if I wanted to be really dirty I could have upvoted myself too. I didn’t do it, but the fact that someone could easily do that kind of made it feel dumb.
Maybe what Gunny could do is not count rating at all, only votes. The only problem is that thumbing down a comment will still count as a vote, but as long as the rules are clear I’d hope people can follow it.
I suppose I just didn’t like how there was needless down-voting the first figurine competition. It’s fun if people vote for what they like, but you don’t have to thumbs down a comment to skew voting. It just seems a bit petty, when things like this are meant to give the community a bit of fun =/ Regardless, congrats, Karma. And, thanks Gunsmith for doing something like this to reward readers/visitors. Cheers.
Winning by default isn’t exactly the most exhilarating feeling you can get from a victory.
But lack of pride aside, I’m still glad to have won them. ^^
I look forward to participating in the next competition, if there is to be one.
