1. If you see slippers in front of or inside the toilet door, it is customary to remove your shoes and use these instead.
2. Some toilets are as normal as western toilets, some have electronic features such as heated seats (which are automatic and sometimes can only be turned off). Check out the image below!
Some even have a music button to drown out any noises you might be afraid of producing…. and the deodorizer to eliminate any evidence…
Feel free to use the STOP button to deactivate any features you don’t want.
In some metro stations or more rustic places, there may just be a hole in the floor…. well, you’ll need to remove your lower garments first… There may be a hose nearby to rinse it all afterwards.
