Kyo Kusanagi Collar Insignia Button Badge Set
Produced by Costume Paradise, Official License from SNK.

I bought this in Gamerz in Osaka or their branch in Akihabara, both had cosplay sections, way back at the start of the millenium, where they still had KOF97 materials in stock.

Any self respecting cosplayer would pop their blazer collar, insert these pins, cut off the sleeves, and then go play with lighter fluid. Don’t do that, it’s dangerous. Ask Shingo. Once, he poured lighter fluid over his sleeves and set them on fire, trying to do an orochinagi. It didn’t work. But, strangely, as Kyo observed, his clothes didn’t seem burned. Interesting. Anyway, don’t copy scions of the flame.

It certainly looks like gold bullion but you may be able to guess that at the cost of 1000 yen, it was hardly much (2026), although for a schoolkid trying to cosplay as the scion of flame, it might have been relatively expensive.

It is one of my treasured possessions and I’m not even a Kyo fanboy! Now check out the video.
