Ok, latest things to know about (I feel like one of those Gundam X "Vulture information dealers" (youtube chapter 2 if you don't get it, har har)) :
-> smoai lives (my searchers detected the site something like.... 1 hour ago and they have already 60 vids and counting) (also, with this change of account, they can't upload vids longer than 10 mins; so bummer to us)
-> Version 1.1 vids.
You can easily tell that the players are more or less new to the game.
BTW, I notice a few differences with audio pitch and when audio volume changes.... Wait, maybe the pitch difference is the fault of my recent change to a new audio system (。∀ °) . Also audio now mutes when a super KO happens, that wasn't there before or was it?
-> I'm having pizza and I have a day off tomorrow and Tuesday, so yay me hyo hyo hyo hyo
note : The vids where recorded on September 25, so that means that there are still bugs and infinites in them.
Since pretty much everyone all over the word is going to be posting these vids all over the place shortly; as "a seller" I certainly think that it wouldn't hurt to have a little exclusive edge when it comes to these vids, so I'll explain the battle system a little (I should have done this in the first place way back on the first vs event, har har).
Basically, the objective this time around is to have the best out of "10 points" between these 2 teams (the word used is 計 (けい) "total" (in counting)) . The girls have 5 members and the KCE have 4, so to properly split those "10 points" everyone in the sisters will have 2 points, while half of the KCE will play 3 and the rest will get 2; with that settled match ups are to be created and then they'll fight. The scoring board they show you prior to the fights shows how many "tries" / "points" out of the ones that each player have are left, each time a player lose they get a point deduction and with zero they are obviously out of the game. They also added a bonus twist to it, where you can get a bonus extra life (by getting wins, I think?) or accidents where you will get deducted one of your lives (I'm not really sure of when these happen though).
My personal favorite for this batch was Alice ( ありす ) and his wonderful Athena. Not only he gave pretty much everyone trouble, but also made it look like Athena has the game most fun to do yet also useful combos and also got most of the wins for his team (heck, he pretty much dealt with KCE by himself this time around).... It's certainly going to be interesting to see these kyodai vs KCE on the 1.1, since the KCE seems to be relying too much on Raiden and Mature.
At the end of the fights, they promise a "revenge match", along with the presence of the KCE players that couldn't assist to this event during this time around, so we better be on the look out for season 3 of these VS fights.

More casual 1.1 footage.... So stalking people (youtube channels) does work, har har har. I hate that blueish background + purple letters though, makes my eyes hurt.
Obviously taken from nico.
The two "【ガンダム勢の】それ程でもないこふ13対戦 " vids that where missing something like 5 hours ago (when I last checked) have been uploaded and updated here.

This particular series of matches is called "Hiroto's Kumite" (Kumite is a 100men challenge in karate). I remember Hiroto being one of the most Mature dependant players in the team... I suppose that they are trying to beat the habit out of him Hiroto is the first player. The enemy doesn't seem to be part of the KCE (I didn't smell their style in there), but rather commoners from the local arcade (they are assigned a generic anonymous name through all of the matches).
Nico nico has 8 videos right now. I'll organize things more after I'm done with the cleaning (apron donning toxic walks into the background).
^ Already done with the work, but I rather leave this one here to the enjoyment of future generations.
Just by seeing Raiden's performance, you can easily tell that his Drop Kick charge time is still within the less than 20 seconds realm.
Afterthoughts : The reportedly removed Vice Splash bug can be seen there. Perhaps now it requires slightly different conditions (like, vs character only or something). Also the previously unrecorded Mai vs throw bug is in there.
About Hiroto.... A "sad" consequence of him "losing" Mature (due to the lack of the infinite), was that he got better with Raiden (since now he has to "make up" for two top tier characters). Throwing K' in there also seems to be a "desperate measure" to keep up some type of match up advantage while playing.
If you didn't noticed, his winning streak finally ended after 23 wins and a mistake filled battle (by both, him and his opponent) .
The last part (split among the last 2 vids) is not part of the Hiroto Kumite, but instead is a bunch of casual matches between unidentified players (conveniently called "13 lover without a name"; name that's different from the vs Hiroto anonymous name (it was something like Anime somalie tatsu anonymous something + number... I don't remember properly, it was just too silly)).

Played on version 1.1, you might not remember, but the previous batch of game 41 was super interesting. These matches have a lot of unseen ~ unrecorded features up to date (like, Clark's longest combo so far, is pretty cool).
Unfortunately, there is something like 10 seconds missing from the last fight (thus, you don't get to know who wins...) I'm watching the original right now to check out who ended up victolious (The winner was Uza kara (うざキャラ)... I was rooting for Mikamemo, har har).
It was pretty obvious since the start that Vice had a Raiden lvl type of defense with her EX tackle -> attack -> EX decide and then HD combo.... Well, it's not the same level, but it's pretty good. Too bad the player couldn't always get the timing right.
Also, Another casual match from the 【ガンダム勢の】 batch. It hasn't been uploaded to youtube so far (it has more than a day in there). The gameplay is begginerish but it's due to that that it's actually interesting.
......
This post was kinda short on vids, so it's ~m~i~s~c~e~l~l~a~n~e~o~u~s ~~~~~ i~n~f~o~r~m~a~t~i~o~n~ time!!!!
I have noticed that pretty much every site gets wrong the Katakana or Hiragana reading of the player's names, so the issue has always been in the back of my mind....
You probably won't get anywhere with the romanization of the guys (since that's relative), but if you use a jp searcher or nico nico with something like "kof + player name" you might get interesting results (aka vids or pics or profiles or nothing, it's also relative).
KCE (also known as King of Fighters '98 Crazy Encyclopedia)
姉妹 Kyoudai (or Shimai) , aka sisters.... They have an alternative kanji name, but it's eluding me at the time.
葵 -> Aoi (also sometimes referred as 葵お姉ちゃん (Aoi Oneechan))
あ~や -> A~ya
ありす -> Alice (or Arisu, if you forcefully associate this to a kanji reading (and you don't have to))
マリ -> Mary (or maybe Mari? )
ゆっこ -> Yukko
Game 41
うざキャラ -> Uza kara
みかメモ4 -> Mika memo 4
くらら -> Kurara
ほあジャイカ -> Hoa Jai Chikara (he purposely miss used "Hwa" in hira, thus it isn't supposed to be the same as the character ( ホア ) . Chikara = power)
ジダン -> Jidan
プリズム -> Prism
弟 -> Otouto (aka, youger brother)
Ζ -> Z
T . S -> T . S
Those are the ones that I remember right now. Maybe I should start a little database with characters used and if they are cool to watch or not....
EDIT :
Fortunately for us, I noticed that the previous Game 41 tournament is still available on youtube (the smoai links posted earlier in this thread got busted) These are all game 41 matches
The video quality is horrible, but the matches are worth your time.
Amazing set of fights. With this vid I became a Mika Memo 4 fan (since he pics alternative characters and displays personality with them, though he isn't as solid as the other guys).

I think that this place was called "seven island arcades", I think (Someone told me, in some other forum, har har har). I think that this is the second batch that they update, the first one was super interesting.
The original nico links are here for monkey's sake :
Not terribly exiting (specially the mirror matches), but in the end the underdog won the thing (even with some unseen to date combos).
Here is the site of the tournament. If you are interested you can see direct download mp4 format battles for the finals of the other popular games, as well as several pictures of the event.
KCE is at it again with yet another of their VS series. This time the match will be an internal strife between 遠征組 "Ensei Kumi" and 神奈川 "Kanagawa" (Ensei Kumi = expansion group). They are not using a point system, instead they are going for a direct elimination battle. Kendo team rules ftw.
First part here :
Second part here :
original source , being a first part the competition isn't actually over with that much.
匿名希望 2 -> Tokumei Hibou 2 (not a different person, but a second try for that player).
南 -> Minami
匿名希望 -> Tokumei Hibou
セーニャ -> Senya
KJ -> KJ
づね -> Dune

Do you guys mind if I send some of these (Namely, the 1.1 vids) over to Shoryuken to be posted on the main page with you guys linked? Figure the SMOAI ones would help spread some awesome about this game.
To the for about 10 people following this thread, I would like to point out that the previous KCE match batch was updated with all of the current parts of the fight, in case you didn't notice (it's a 4 parter)
Casual matchs of as I rather "Fluffy competition" ( ふわふわ対戦). From Smoai and originally found in nico nico.
While the output is not in Hi def, you can tell that the recording equipment was high grade, as the vids look extremely fluid in motion even though they have low visual quality. The players are kinda advanced as well despise the tier whoring (though they still have some level of mistakes here and there).

Ash calmly walking over K' and Raiden is always cool.
TA - there is a liz combo in first vid at 4:45, is that like XI liz where you whiff cD into DM for you to QS from (well in this case making it comboable again?) it looks like she did +A, sB~dp+A, +C etc??? Never seen that before.
Is that a back turn only combo at 6:34? Fuck me!!!!
