Mukai was in 2003. 2k2UM only covers characters that were present from 99-2002.

That's actually not accurate. They have Goenitz. He feels fricken out of place in this cast.

Geese and Goenitz, actually. Although both of them were in the PS2 version of 2K2.
Nightmare Geese, on the other hand...

KOF2002UM 'Tougeki Version'. It's basically a port of the arcade version to PS2.
Other than having 2D backgrounds instead of 3D and missing playable boss characters, I wasn't aware that the arcade version had any differences from the PS2 one...the description mentions 'balance tuning.'

Only thing that I can think off the top of my head is the reduced damage of Kyo-1's qcfx2+P DM.
I dunno if Chris' bug made it into the arcade version (vid:

But it does feel a little cheap now that they release a 'fixed' version.

So I finally picked this up, as in, the Tougeki Version.
Is it me or does this update include SFIV corner syndrome? I'm not testing this thoroughly but it seems every hyper jump can easily go behind the opponent, putting you in the corner, and f*cking up everything.
They didn't rebuff Shermie's jump C. Not amused.
