Eh well, KoF94 Rebout didn't have as many sprites per character as KoF gained in 96, let alone in 98. But I liked what 94 Rebout added, the 3D stages were nice looking, only there was WAY TOO many cameos around. The Orochi and NESTS story summarizations are sexy too (and everyone probably ignored them <_<), Color Edit is nice, the addition of 95 Saisyu was good...only that the AI didn't know how to fight him and could fall for the same things over and over and over. The modern training mode is good, and Team Edit's a good edition too.
There was no mistake made, they just didn't shower you with an uber amount of extras =P. It WAS 94 afterall, what did you want other than an art gallery?(save for balance tweaks..?)
