Eh that's lame. I thought they were fixing all bugs.

What about Goro's earthquake bugs and Iori's/Kyo's backhop bugs... They might be common in normal play, but they give already strong characters stupid advantages that they have no business having.

The way I hear it all Goro Daimons crap has been fixed.

His hcfhcf kick super grab is now a counter super and his roll ground stomp rubbish wont work. I think its in one of the usa loke vids the guy using goro hits iori with his elbow then does the bug it doesn't work and he goes "hah u would have died or something".

The Kyo dwn c hop thing doesn't work either.

But the Athena fireball bug works. I would have only had Heidern be able to use that bug. Athena doesn't need it at all.

Why change Goro kick DM to a reversal? Was there something wrong with it? I hardly ever see people use it.

Athena, Takuma, Iori and Hiedern all have the glitch intact. In fact anyone with a projectile and a command grab has that bug, Even Krauser. Can you say unstoppable Kaiser wave?

Goro's other DM was for mashing slow reaction retards anyway. A counter DM actually makes him stronger, more defence against rushdown, like he cared with his elbow, but still...

sucks that the bugs haven't been taken out.

Maybe they just couldn't figure out how to fix it lol

But kick DM was good anti-air if you timed it right and not much else. I thought that was pretty balanced. Pressuring Goro is one of the only ways to keep him off your ass; yeah he had reversals but those rarely helped. Now he can stop pressure, which is going to make him even harder to deal with.

Unblockable projectile glitch is cheap but not broken, so I don't see a problem with it. Though I do wish that every time Athena does PSYCHO TEBALLEPOOOOOOOOORT that her head explodes into instant fail

I don't really see how giving Daimon protection against pressure would "balance" him".

Shit, even without that shit and all those tweaks he had, he would still be a pain in the ass.

Or maybe the japanese are just too cheap and lazy, and need a "win" char :v

Kof98 um is released in hong kong/japan now info pending...

Hops seem to be toned down, damage is lower on some combos, matches last longer etc

Athena, Takuma, etc unblockable fireball isnt a bug, its the design. its already there for long time. ask SNK boss if u dun believe me. :P

Seems like it, they be talking on FightClub already. I'll find an arcade and try it out tomorrow.

By the way, the timing of the buttons are like the original 98.

There's more info out there, I think I'll need some time to post them.

Edit:
Quickie post, the bosses seem to have really, really high stamina according to the players. Maybe it's the arcade setting.
