I assume the ordering is Super Cancel, Guard Break, MAX2?

That chart seems to have a few minor flaws IMO, I have trouble believing that Vanessa is S in any groove. Other than that it is helpful.

I couldn't help but notice that Yashiro is the ONLY character on that chart that MAX2 is te recommended groove for... That's more of an observation than a criticism... Super Cancel seems to be drastically favored.

How many percent damage more (approximately) does Max2 Mode?

Not that hard to believe actually. This means that if you use Vanessa on the other 2 grooves, you will find that she is much more versatile and damaging in SC mode.

Personal estimation is around 30++%. Heat mode is about 20%. Rough gauge.
Although Maxima's and Goro's damage seem a bit off the chart though... ;p

Compared to SC mode Goro, Max 2 Goro is a *bit* weak.

Though Goro does really sick damage in Max2, the inability to roll makes him easy to beat.

Only having one stock kinda hurts him too as he needs to CD counter people often to keep the pressure off.

In addition, in SC mode, Goro can do his 98 combo of doom.

Df C, qcb b(or qcf b), SC to Dp A *3 for stupid damage.

To me, perhaps with the exception of Saishu and O.Yashiro, Max 2 is not the best mode for most characters in NW.

Well, Max2 reminds me of Alpha3 X-Ism, a bit of cheese here and there but overall less options, and there we go... still, love the damage you can do in that mode, even minor b'n'b combos become a prob for careless opps.

Max2 isn't the best of the three modes, that would be SC. GB is cool and all, but well, JD seems too easy to use, all of a sudden anyone JDs like hell left and right. The standard qcf+CD wire starter is nice tho.

Wait...you forgot Angel?
Or was she console only?
She might be good in Guard Break IMO since she doesn't have too many SC combos.
I don't even wanna think about Guard Break Choi...

Ive seen Angel used very much in SC only..and like Geese though he is S in SC mode, he doesnt have ANY SC COMBOS...if he does please let me know..but have been void to discover any..Saisyus damn HSDM in MAX2 makes him a beast!!

For Geese the main reason he is great in both SC and MAX2 is because it givs you access to quite possible the best super in the game-DEADLY RAVE.

In GB mode he can be played veyr good..but using the Guard Break takes away from the Deadly Rave, making a different strategy altogether.

It does have some WICKED USES THOUGH..HEHEHE

Wanna battery for DRave in GB mode?? Just Defense!!! It is strict timing but aint that hard really.
