KOF XIII delayed? Good!
This is probably going to start a whirlwind of rumours, but we are to believe Hokuto (and I do), the delay of XII by “several” months is a very good thing.
a) it means SNK have finally stopped rushing out products, learned from their mistakes and will produce a polished product.
b) players can now put more time into 2002um without worrying about everyone dropping it immediately because of XIII. That’s not going to happen for a very long time now.
SO GET BACK INTO PRACTICE! …. Or the speculation of DLC characters can start now in earnest.

This is great news. I won’t get my hopes up too high but it’s really hard. Please, don’t let the wait for XIII be much longer SNK.

If you’ve been reading the articles, you know who Hokuto Youssef is. If you’re asking who Hokuto is, as a credible source, then all I can say is that he has a friend who knows someone in SNKP. This same friend passed on a very indirect message from SNKP about orochinagi’s XIII event in London.
If you believe Hokuto, the console version IS being made.
If you don’t want to believe anything until it comes from SNKP, then wait. At the end of the day, we’re still in the same position (waiting)!
We showed SNKP our 2002um for PS3 poll. If you put yourself in SNKP’s boots, they have just released 98FE. How do they know that we would still want 2002UM rather than 98FE? They also have NEOGEO Station releasing all the old titles too. Which is the best way to make money, so they can finish off XIII?
For us PSN users there is nothing to play, xbox have at least 2002 um and NGBC.I don t think snk is delaying the game because they want to polish it .. they just don ‘t have the money and are searching for a good deal and a publisher(which is difficult because of the XII catastrophe and also no publisher would risk it especially of all the new fighting games coming out).I just want 2002 um on psn…
Who is Hokuto? I’d love it if they would at least confirm that the game is in the works. The silence is killing any momentum XIII had in the states.
