Sometimes you’ll see a little guy with a bag over his shoulder wander onto the screen.  The CPU on auto mode will ignore him and he’ll disappear after a few moments.

Not a good idea to let him go because if you defeat him you will double your rewards.

It’s been seen to at least double the loot you would get.

event stages can spawn gold thiefs (akin to diablo gold goblins), which drop additional loot!
