Her name is Mayumi (actress name is Yumi Sugimoto). She plays the nurse in Trapeze/Kuchu Buranko and shows up in a live action/animated mesh.

Yeah, this week's episode was pretty good (and was pretty funny) as well. Nice, mature styled character development, despite the patient changing in each ep.

Took you long enough to watch both Hidamari and Sketchbook! Yes, they're pretty sublime slice of life series. Seitokai is ok for me so far. I like how the main guy imagines every girl in the club as a part of his harem right out of the gate.

I have been watching a few shows recently after a pretty long pause, specifically Kuchuu Buranko, Zan Zetsubou, Sunred, Bakemonogatari, and i'm living the lie that anime is classy, smart, experimental and artsy.

Nyan Koi is the same old harem anime, with a guy who gets cursed by the god of cats and has to solve 100 cat problems. It's fairly amusing, check it out if you liked Seto no Hanayome

Goddamit I loved the Sunred Eps 22 Maid Cafe scene.

I think the only highlights for this season are Hidamari season 3 and Baka to Test to Shokanju (which I'm sure E is enjoying immensely).

Yeah, I concur. It's a lot less zany than Seto, but almost as funny.

Too much funny stuff to count in Sunred. One of these shows which I wish would go on forever and I wouldn't mind the slightest.

Is anyone still watching FMA Brotherhood? Getting better in the recent episodes, IMO.

Either way guys, anything new interesting or worth watching around? I might have missed a season or 2. Is Durarara any good? Wtf is Shaft doing, gross loli vampire? Why Shaft :(

If you loved Baccano with it's outlook for multiple characters and a bit of the supernatural, you'll obviously like Durarara as well. It's a bit more set in modern times, but it comes from the same author and the same animation studio. It's a pretty fun show so far.

Black Lagoon season 3 OVA is coming soon, too! In the meantime, though:

Wow BP likes Kimi no Todoke, even if it is shoujo it's one of my favorite shows still airing.Other than that i'm watching quite a bit.Hidamari Hoshimitsu,Letter Bee,Cobra(bet Sheba will like that),Hanamaru,Durarara!,Baka Test(the scenes with Shoko owning Yuji are the best),Cross Game,FMA Brotherhood and Railgun.Bund is crap and Trapeze turned me off with the first episode.

Well look who posted! How've you been, bud?

Yeah, I don't mind shoujo shows at all - I mean, Ouran and Fruit's Basket remain one of my favorite series and it's from that genre. As for Kimi ni Todoke, it is one of those which are very well done (in terms of characterization and drama) so it's one of the highlights of the past fall season for me.

That list is exactly the same as mine currently, sans Cross Game and Railgun. I hear Railgun went into filler hell now, though.

Bit surprised you were turned off by the surrealness of Trapeze. Maybe a couple of more eps could've done well, but I can understand that.

Oh right I forgot Ouran was shoujo as well, loved that one too.I like the characters in KnT and it has nice bits of comedy in it too, kind of doesn't feel like shoujo until the KazehayaxSawako bits.
BP wrote:That list is exactly the same as mine currently, sans Cross Game and Railgun. I hear Railgun went into filler hell now, though.
I recommend Cross Game really.Even if you don't like sports it's got great characters. As for Railgun I don't read the manga or know anything about the light novels but the fillers aren't too bad.Not even close to *cough* NARUTO filler fail.

Trapeze was too much for me,I don't mind abstract but the first ep felt like a bad acid trip.

Oh I forgot to mention that I watch Kobato too, even with the CLAMP noodle people it's not bad.

O shi-, BP + bonus twin brother s_y.

Haven't watched any anime in over a year. If there's any more Zetsubou however, I might be intrigued..
