generally, anything recommended by Fuu is top tier and actually has good writing, appealing to the brain in your head that has hopefully developed somewhat over the years.

Otherwise, we have a good and quite long list of mindless violence and/or boobs or cute girls or low brow comedy, which will suit the kid/retard/pervert in you quite happily, and help you escape from this mundane existence we call "life".

It's just an HD version of the original show, with all the filler being cut out to follow the manga and with re-recorded voices. Nothing more, nothing less.

Been catching up on Gintama now that Horriblesubs' Crunchyroll rips have been out on torrent recently. Yoshiwara arc (139 to 145) was one of the best serious ones yet and I just laughed too much at the Otsu arc (157 to 163). Still about 10 or more episodes to go to the recent episode!

DB Kai is remastering of DBZ but condensed and with new animation or something ... I haven't got any releases cause I like to stick to the same group (and they decided to MIA suddenly)

And when is Black Lagoon OVA coming out?

Bakemonogatari is very good by the way. Best new anime I've seen in quite a bit.

Senjogahara might take the honor of being the first tsundere character I actually find attractive.

Check out Sword Of The Stranger,

Synopsis
Kotarou, a boy on the run from the royal army of China's Ming dynasty, happens upon a wandering samurai with no name. Kotarou doesn't particularly want No-Name's help, but when his trusty dog Tobimaru is injured in an assault, he's left with little choice but to hire him as a bodyguard. The two form an uneasy friendship, and the Chinese army joins with the local feudal lord to pursue the boy, with the intent of using his blood to create a medicine that would grant eternal life. The battle heats up when No-Name has to battle some of China's strongest warriors, and in the process, tries to overcome the guilt of a past he's left behind.

MASAHIRO ANDO (DIRECTOR)
FUMIHIKO TAKAYAMA (SCRIPT)
NAOKI SATO (MUSIC)

Animation: BONES

It has its cliche anime moments but over all the movie was very good. I mean I havent enjoyed a samurai/ronin anime like this since ninja scroll....<that was long time ago>.

I watch some shows on streaming sites (Gintama, Hayate no Gotoku) but that's about it. Otherwise I wait for the DVDs to come out.

I don't really torrent anymore either except for One Piece raws. I just use animeload, it's a pay site but there's a lot there for DDL. I've already watched all of Ghost Hunt and Daughter of 20 Faces.
Ghost Hunt was okay. The supporting characters would have been more interesting if they'd have been used more sparingly.
20 Faces was great at the beginning and just kind of fizzled near the end. Also I'm really starting to hate Hirano Aya. She managed to turn down her nasal cavity for this role but she's still irritating.
Still trying to put a dent in Gintama, but I've only watched up to episode 68. 120+ episodes to go and counting. I think the fact it doesn't have any kind of overarching plot is why I've been progressing so slowly. No matter how funny it gets I feel like my brain is rotting if a plot goes nowhere.

Trapeze/Kuchu Buranko is pretty messed up. I dunno how I should even classify this as a series, but I'll definitely keep following this. I like the live-action/animation meshes.

Out of the new season anime, I like Kimi ni Todoke and Letter Bee quite a bit so far.
