[UM] EX Terry

Tried him today. Nothing changed from what I see, except for Round Wave.

dp+P: Round Wave. I'm not sure what this is for. It looks like a mini-Power Geyser. Anyway, I never got it to hit anybody. Will add more if I have more findings.

Isn't it his Round Wave from the RB games and KOF99?

You could try doing the round wave after the firekick in the corner. Round wave allows a juggle so u could try crackshot then rising tackle?

... it IS Round Wave from RB and 99, then o_o

Does it still have a kind of long startup or is it fast?

Just like to clarify that Terry does Round Wave with his left hand (when he's at 1P side) so it's not the KOF 99+ Round Wave. Think his animations for the second hit of the Power Geyser SDM. It looks kinda like a mini-geyser too.

It's not very fast. I didn't get the chance to connect that move much because I got challenged (it's an arcade after all). But from what I tested, the move lasts longer than it seems, which means that as long as that mini-geyser is out, the opponent has a chance to get hit by it. And it's out pretty long.

Unless I've tested what TamaYak said I can only consider it a corner pressure move which isn't much. Hopefully it can connect off a Fire Kick juggle!

Well, tried almost any possible combination for Round Wave and it's really a move that's too slow, can't OTG, can't follow after Fier Kick...so basically it's like 2k2 Round Wave without being cancellable, and a bigger hitbox than it looks.

If you didn't know, Terry's Power Geyser are RB2 styled instead of KOF styled.

Have you tried to do Terrys hidden power dunk in realbout 2 only off a combo?

I think it was up diagonal c then a in a combo.

Or rbout 2 Terrys power charge? Its ab (together) forward c (I think).

Maybe those are hidden?

Don't think those moves you mentioned are in-game unfortunately.

Second hit of Fier Kick can be Q.Maxed. Into what, I'm not sure yet. We'll discover sooner or later. Maybe a SDM Power Geyser. That'd be yummy.

I think these ex versions of the realbout characters are still half assed. So much stuff from that series they could have used for Terry. They could have even used pre-existing animation to create new moves like that power dunk from a combo or ab forward c power charge.

I dont think it would have made ex terry overpowered in the iori krauser leagues.

Fire Kick is a proper juggle now, and from what I saw in the videos, you can follow with a jumping attack. If I'm not mistaken, in 98 only the Rising Tackle can hit after.

Actually you could follow with a jump attack in 98 too, but it's really hard.

I suppose they made it easier to do now.

Hmm, I've never seen anyone follow the Fire Kick with anything other than the Rising Tackle, so this is new to me. Besides, I tried following with a df+C and a standing poke and none of the connected.
