For some reason, WF has started subbing School Rumble Nigakki again. o_o

Death Note anime started airing yesterday in Japan. Is anyone subbing it yet?

Sooo I'm watching Kanon 2006 and Death Note.

Anything else worth noting for this season?

What the mr. chaos controller said. I need to know, too.

After Demonbane and Utawarerumono, I haven't felt like downloading something, except Zero no Tsukaima... oh and yes, I must get Kanon 2006 too :3

The anime certainly nails the atmosphere and artwork incredibly well. Animation is excellent, and the music is also perfect for the tone of the anime.

The voice acting was pretty good, although since Light's voice actor also played Tamaki in Ouran Host Club I keep picturing him for some reason, lol.

Other than Kanon and Death Note? Well I haven't seen anything that's as good as Death Note yet, but I can describe a few and you decide for yourself:

First I saw Pumpkin Scissors, which is pretty interesting. Not mind-blowing, but interesting. If I had to describe: Saber meets Frankenstein, and they fight crime with anti-tank warfare. The name is what gets me though. There's really nothing more random than that.

Also watched Asatte no Houkou. It's basically an anime ripoff of Big. There are some differences but the idea's the same. Loli grows burblies, gets tall, tries to take a bath in a bathtub half her size, etc. Meanwhile a nearby adult enters loli mode, runs around in clothes that are too loose to stay on. Oddly enough, the tone of the show is not comedic at all. Yet.

Finally I saw Black Blood Brothers, which is kind of like a PG version of Hellsing. It didn't really click with me (though I like how the main character beats the crap out of the shota). Maybe I need to watch a few more episodes to be sure.

I'm probably going to watch Sumomomomomomo and HSDKenichi in raw to see if they're worth waiting for subs. I have high hopes.

I've been wanting to check out Death Note, but the guy who recommended it to me also likes Hikaru no Go, so I don't know if I can trust his opinion.

I watched the first episode of Pumpkin Scissor too. The WWI~WWII setting was interesting to me as well as the Zombie-esque~berserker mojo of the main male character.

I'll hold my judgement about the serie until I see more than four episodes, because this is... Gonzo.

I'm also watching Death Note, Pumpkin Scissors, and Black Blood Brothers.

Plus, right now I am watching:
D.Gray-Man
Yoake Mae Yori Ruri Iro Na
Gargoyle of the Yoshinagas

Also, I'm catching up on anime I missed the first time, such as Yakitake!! Japan and Black Lagoon.

I'm liking what I see so far... however, it's quite hard to find an anime I'd actually hate.
