I FINALLY finished watching Haruhi. I had stopped on episode 7, but I watched the rest in the past three days.
Damn, that episode 12 (the band one) was simply amazing. I loved episode 9 too (believe it or not), and the final two (as well as both Remote Island Syndrome episodes, and the one with the computer game... I'd better stop).
Great series. I'm not too much of an anime fan, but I loved this and hope for a second season.

Is the last Noein by the same group or a different one? I was going to wait until the group that was working on it does the last episode and then grab the whole thing.
New summer anime:
I watched a few episodes of Dai Mahou Touge. If you liked Dokuro-chan, you really ought to see this show. I mean holy crap. Too bad this was a spring anime and it's only just now being subbed.
New Hachimitsu to Clover season loses nothing from the first season. Enough said.
Muteki Kanban Musume is okay. Visually it's funny and makes great screenshots, but the writing's a little dry.
Coyote Ragtime Show has potential. I really hope that it's just all-out action like the first episode suggests because somehow UFOtable makes even generic action look neat.

Different one. But might as well not wait. Shinsen Subs is purposely taking forever.
Hey, I've got a recipe for ya!
Take the Harry Potter universe.
Add Shana and Yuuji Sakai from
Shakugan no Shana.
And Yuki Nagato from
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
And Tamaki Suoh from
Ouran Host Club.
And Karin Kanzuki from
Street Fighter.
And that fat kid from
Infinite Ryvius.
And hey, how about Gandalf for good measure?
Mix it all together with generous amounts of fanservice. (Might want to add in any big-busted bimbo you could think of at the moment.)
THIS IS WHAT YOU GET.
I am entertained.

Magikano is...bleh. Really epitomise the harem anime genre where a loser boy with latent powers/abilities is liked by all the girls. Comedy was so-so, though episode 1 and 10 made me laugh the most. I didn't think the main character Haruo had any real redeemable values that made him lovable to all the girls. He also hardly displayed any speck of kindness typical of loser characters towards the girl characters, so it was really hard for me to like his character.
The only thing worth seeing was Mamiya's plotting and scheming (and her sexy evil voice) and the exaggerated reactions and facial expressions that the other girls make when competing for Haruo. I also enjoyed the youngest sister Fuyuno's VA, especially in episode 1 when she was counting the money and when she reacted towards Mamiya's curse.
Rather brainless harem series, but then again I wasn't really expecting much when I downloaded this series.

NHK ni youkoso is really interesting! Everyone should watch it, especially fanboys like KK!
Gyagu Manga Biyori has, uhm, very WTF humour. I'd say it is like japanese humour on crack. It's not always really fun, but is somewhat enjoyable. But anyway, it's very short so you might be able to download it casually unless you have some shitty shitty connection like, uhm, KK! (sorry KK i needed some example we're still best friends i hope)

Not interested in downloading any of those.
I need some action anime, and until now I haven't found anything good. And no, I hate Bleach, so discard that. I'll keep on with D.C.S.S., Canvas 2 and Utawarerumono, though
