[Toxic Avanger]

A follow up from the previous post about the all Kansai competition , Unfortunately, unlike the previous episode this time around the players that commanded less popular characters didn't dominated the competition, except for Woo. Now we have Hyougo vs Osaka....






... And Kyoto vs Kaoru / Woo.





The teams and player order is the same as the previous set of fights, but the match ups are different.
As people might have noticed from the start, thanks to the score card we can see that there is still a set of fights left to be released. (I was thinking of pointing this out from the start, this is a true "league" between the 4 teams.... but me forgot to tell ).

END RESULT (to bad that I can't create the table for it though).

The winning team was カオル・ウー (Kaoru ・ Woo Team) , they didn't lost any fights.
Osaka Won over Kyoto and Hyougo but Lost to the Kaoru ・ Woo team.
Kyoto won over Hyougo but lost against Kaoru & Osaka teams
Hyougo lost all of their matches (that result doesn't really reflect their capability, though)

By the way, I wondered why Kaoru's team had less members than the other ones; I'm aware that Kaoru won a tournament back then in version 1.0 (was it duelling?), but why Woo? Maybe he won something important that I don't know about (I have a huge detailed txt with player listings and things like those but I think that this is the first time he comes into my radar).

niconico (and by extension SMOAI) uploaded another of the lengthy 対戦動画 series (Taisen Douga or competition vids), however unlike the other ones here we have one that includes a very interesting rule : 3 people form a "team" and each will fight a battle; but we have that within a team no player can select the same character; that means that if player A uses K' player B and C can't select him and so.

The idea is very interesting but it's "bad" that we can't see it on a large tournament or a large event such as the ones from Acho or KCE, you can tell that some players like experience with some characters, and this is probably so because they had to "give away" their main characters to the other more prolific members of the team.





I hadn't noticed that a single drive cancel + EX move x 2 from Vice could do +50%

Player 1 gets upset because Eliz grabed him 3 times in a how, so in match 2, he atempts revenge, grabbing her with K' throw 3 times.

KCE has updated a KCE + alpha vs Sisters + alpha. I don't know who alpha team is, but right now there is only one vid and I suppose more will folow.

A national team tournament hosted by Dune, It had been online for a while, but I had been lazy and busy and thus haven't gotten around to post it







BTW, SMOAI right now has roughly 3100 video uploads. They have almost catched up to their past channel that had something like 3300 ~ 3400 uploads before being deleted. It should be noted that their past channel needed something like 4 years of uploads to get to that point, while this channel doesn't have even a year around . Probably the only "downside" from this channel compared to the past one is that they don't have youku casuals for KoF games, those where seriously super good.

Kagawa prefecture tournament, think of it as "country chicks playing games". This youtube new channel hasn't been around long and it had totally escaped me, there are some battles for different games inside, some are really interesting... some are not.

Includes members of the KCE, the Urasia Gumi (the most Famous KoFXI players in japan, and they still stick to that game). From the Fluffy Team videos series (A-cho players) and from the Sisters (who we should all know well by now). Gaku is always amazing.

I got a question though , I noticed a lot of people in videos all over (not just Japan) are obv playing K because he's pretty good , are these videos after the nerf or are these just from arcade mode (where I'm assuming he wasn't touched?) , because it honestly seemed like he was still pretty crazy. I know it's a weird question but I'm just curious.

They're playing the arcade version 1.1 which didn't really affect K' at all in terms of balance.
