Just new features to the XIII system (EX moves, Hyperdrive and Neomax), very basic.

Got to beat the game today. Saiki is weird - he's not really active, and seemingly is pretty easy to beat (and yes, he's nekkid). But Dark Ash is scary. For one I'm not really used to BLINDING LIGHT FULLSCREEN AUGH and secondly he is pretty hard to beat. I barely beat him with my character at the last drop of his life, pretty much. He can do fireballs pretty much non-stop because of the lack of lag, and really likes to seal your moves once he connected with his b,f+K. But at times, just doing a jump in attack and delaying the next hit by a short moment seems to get them off-guard (they'll try to do something and will get interrupted by you).

One very, very interesting thing of note is that the game somehow resets after someone wins 10 rounds (I think it was 10). As in, one side wins, and then it says "Game Over" and if you want to play, you need to pay. I suppose it's some sort of internal setting? But if it's not, I think it'll probably be pretty annoying.

Pretty sure the AI guys have been getting win streaks of over 20 so it's probably an internal machine setting.

I think the one playing in the video was supposed to do a playthrough, but then... Challengers came in, could not finish the K' Team playthrough due to challengers... Too bad...

is that the real cpu difficulty? :o i mean they are... terrbile... worse than 2k2um/xi! it is like that cause the arcade owners dont put the highest level of difficulty or...? what about Hk penpen? is it the same? ;) :o

The CPU starts out easy, like the first two matches would be a cakewalk, but then it gets progressively harder. But I think part of the difficulty curve is the arcade owner's setting obviously.

On the win limit thing I mentioned yesterday, it IS a setting that can be changed, as another player told me on FightClub that the arcade I went to had the balls to set the win limit to 5.
