O__o I read somewhere else on here that there's some speculation of three releasable characters later on (perhaps download content for the PSN, etc), is it possible those bottom three characters in the images could be just that? The little girl with the cute black outfit seems adorable, but you never know until you actually use it - seems like an equivalent of Ninon's gothic-lolita look, only less generic.

I like that they were concidering a more true-to-the-past stance for ash, and I REALLY liked Liz's original outfit better, but new is never bad, it just gives you something new to deal with.

Some of the character models looked so vastly different in the sprites that were drawn on the final scan than what they're like in game now. asss Go figure.... I think perhaps they should have added them in if they had the time, or at least some different looking animations for ending at least...


It's always good to see things like this, because it adds some perspective to exactly how much work and thought is invested with the coming of each title.

That's weird because if that were the final roster then there would have been full teams of three for everybody except for Elizabeth and Billy, assuming that Kim, Hwa, and Raiden would be a team. I find it suspicious that the boss is just boss_chara, which makes me assume that they never even got to the stage of finalizing or deciding on a final boss. An ex version of Iori with his 98 moves and a powered sub-boss version of Ash seems likely enough though. None of this really matters much unless of course SNK decides to finish some of these things as downloadable content.

I'm kind of hoping that that's what'll most likely happen.

*sweatdrop Why take away the brazil stage? It looks very very good, and looked obviously finished! That's an extreme shame. I also doubt we'd be seeing any of the other characters, but in the very least we have a very high chance of at least three characters probably being released as DLC.

Sure this design is sort of generic, but it fit the general proportions that original Athena had (and would've been proper proportions for the next Athena & Friends). Everyone's else's look (in terms of AGE) wasn't modified, why was hers? She looks like a 8 year old kid stuck in a 14 year old's body with a 6 year old's baby fat.

Oh right, they wanted to appease the pedobearz.
