Per Gunsmith's request for a new thread, these are the AI vids filmed by me, not to get confused by the HD one that Scott kindly records for us via direct feed (although it's our matches anyways).

Man, that's an evil Iori setup and a very, very good Iori player. And I like the fact that he almost never did Iori's dp.

So basically the setup is:
Standing C -> CD -> qcb+C -> Standing C -> fully charged CD -> follow with whatever, in this case standing C -> CD -> qcb+C -> DM.

And qcb+C has quite a lot of invincibility.

Any way to get out of that?

I think Ash recovers before Iori can fully charge his CD, but usually the first reaction after standing again is that they block the next attack.

Roll or GA (b+CD). It also depends on the timing of the charge CD, if they're a tad slow you can

it if you're fast enough or a good DM.

I'm curious on the second vid with Iori playing, right at the beginning of the video when he grabs kim, was the player going for block pressure ?

Need to try that out next time i get a chance.

I don't get what exactly you're asking. He went for a hop A, s.A, f+A,

+C grab and he got it. I know I'm misunderstanding your question.

Yeah sorry i shoulda explained it better, i meant after the grab, he does CD >

+K > st.C >

+K > then goes for cr.B.
I just wasn't sure why he did it.

Also i'm wondering with Kyo whether the dwnF+D does more damage than

+B, as i noticed one of the players always does dwnF+D.

Oh that was me hahah.

Iori, I did that d. B at the end for pressure, if it hits you can combo, if they block, you can go for another j. A or

+C. Sometimes I think I should just do nothing cause the opponent often tries to do an uppercut, or b+CD. In some cases against floaty characters like Chin and Athena, you can easily end up behind them (note the last

+K was D version), which will screw up what they're trying to do unless its a d, u type of move like rising tackle.

As for Kyo,

+D is about the same damage. I use this rather than the

+B because it knocks down, rather than knocks away leaving them standing. For my playstyle I like to have them knocked on the floor. There are other options too like

+B ->

+A or just

+C (which I think does the most dmg), but I'd rather not do it in a regular game until I can get it 95%+ of the time.
