didnt expect this to be fantastic but it was! brett ratner rush hour director did a good job. i noticed now juntao from rush hour was spike in this movie ...and he was a villain ...and he was asian ...and the actor's name is lance gibson.

seriously some fanboyism was put in the movie. and it was awesome. from sentinals to juggernaught actually saying "don't u know who i am? i'm the juggernaught bitch!" [i mean wtf, was that really a reference to that dub clip?]

kelsey grammer as the beast, i mean, this guy totally made the movie. he WAS the beast, kelsey totally captured it. i mean if anyone of these actors really was the comic book character right out of the book, it wud have been beast. that part when he looks at his "cured" hand sez so much without words!

but waaay too many ppl died man! and i mean cyclops is one of my favorites, but in this series he was just this extra guy on the side who always got hurt and finally screwd by jean.. in the wrong way.

ian mckellen deserves props up too as magneto. i mean this actor is brilliant. but wat the hell was up with the last teaser scenes? i mean does it mean that the cure doesn't work or wat. and he killed so many ppl, shudn't the government arrest him? even if he did escape on that island, the cia/fbi shud be smart enuf to track him down again and arrest him.

and the brotherhood army.. i mean those pawn mutants basically had crap powers and they all charged foward to get slaughtered. just coz ur a mutant doesnt mean u shud fight without a weapon, i mean they were just charging in to die.

and the last scene, so assuming charles did transfer his mind to that comatose patient in the school video.. werent they discussing whether or not if it was moral to do that?

and angel did nothing useful! that was totally just a side story!

and how come there were ONLY 6 people in the whole academy willing to fight against the whole brotherhood? what happened to nightcrawler?

overall great movie. tops the last 2 by far.

IMO 1 > 2 > 3

but all 3 were good.

And Nightcrawler tells Charles in the X3 game that he doesn't want to fight anymore.

Halle Berry and Storm are(is) (a) fucking ugly whore(s).

It is never explicitly stated that Cyclops dies. He could have blasted Jean after the kiss, which is why she's unconscious and he;s still wandering around the forest blind.

And the asian guy is called Quills/Kid Omega. Spike is the male Marrow, who throws bones at Wolvey in the forest. Quills has the lamest ability ever, i laughed when he tried to threaten Pyro, who could pwn any other mutant in the brotherhood except maybe Magneto. He jobbed to Iceman.

So, with all that being said, X3 is a must watch movie?
I saw it just last night, it wasn't that good enough for me to jump up and down and scream, "HELL YEAH!!!", but it was pretty sweet.
What I don't understand is how Wolverine keeps seeming to go all "soft" with each passing movie, has anyone noticed that too??

Whether Cyclops died or not, he totally got Johnny Caged. Which was pretty

considering he wasn't in 2 all that much either. I guess that Cyclops just isn't that popular and they think that the movies do a lot better focusing around Wolverine, which I guess is understandable. I still liked the movie in spite of a lot of its strange choices of story direction.

It is quite an entertaining movie to say the least. There are just bits and pieces here and there that kinda gives you the willies (liek Storm using hand to hand combat! )

As the X3 Wiki entry suggests, seeing that the so called "cure" is from a mutant. It's effect may not be permanent.

the film just seemed like sw #2, as in a filler episode
magneto/rogue will get their power back,
charles and cyclops will return.
of course they will!
heroes died/lost powers all the time in the comics

yep angel was just like... used for advertising the movie?

impressive juggernaut costume, very realistic

couldn't believe they took the line from the dub, but it sure is pleasing!

halle berry is god dam fit!!!

Colossus= too shiny and imagined him bigger, but ok.

pryo can't create fire, remember that... break his gadget, he's fucked

nice touches in the movie, shin iceman, jeangrey looking damn sexy, wolverine's skeleton...

Ian Mackellen is so fricking great.. hmm all acting was good I thought!

nice movie, but again, felt like a cliffhanger.

i give it 3/5: enjoyable.

so i did some research [about the characters that have small roles/cameos in the film] after i mistook ken leung for lance gibson.

apparently they messed up the credits and credited him as kid omega which shud have been quills.

trask, is the guy who made the sentinals. [the advisor for the president, aside from beast] i was sorta confused coz in the movie magneto kept calling multiple man what i heard as trask, better watch it again sometime and pay attention.

there were some deleted scenes, i saw the pictures, including iceman and shadowcat kissing.

amongst my findings i also found out that in a recent multiverse comic house of M, [canon to the original universe] 98% of the world's mutant population has lost their mutant abilities, due to the scarlet witch. which doesnt really effect anything anyway.. except that i wasted hours reading up on characters in marvel universe.

imdb lists the cameo of omega red in the movie. but i didnt catch it. apparently its a guy at the brotherhood with an omegared tattoo, but hey man if i saw a blond pigtailed guy at the brotherhood i immediately wuda recognized it. same with jubilee, the cuckoos, Dr.mactaggert, emma frost, and some other cameos that only the Super xnerds on forums cud spot out. i totally missed all of them. i feel so unworthy!

found out wolvy kills jean in the comic too. not only that but he's canadian!

the tagteam move that collosus and wolverine does is actually a signature move in the comics.

so now they're onto spinoff trilogies for wolverine, magneto, possibly emma frost and rumours of future x sequels. what cash cows. thank god they cancelled the idea of 2 more daredevils.. ben affleck..

oh yeh, on a random note, there was a marvel character called bluebird. she was an ordinary gymnast who threw gas pellets and annoyed the crap out of spiderman, who finally died in a car accident trying to take a picture of spiderman. which of course is terrible... to my name!

How'd you miss out on McTaggert? They said her name before she talked - I'm assuming you're not familiar with the character.

Was that purple haired asian woman supposed to be Psylocke? Her power didn't seem to match but I saw her name in the credits...

The movie was alot better than I thought it would be. Beast was excellent and I thought they did a pretty good job with Dark Phoenix considering what they had to work with. All and all I liked it but a couple things bothered me:

- Maybe I missed it but it seems like they never resolved the issue that the whole movie was based on. Everyone was upset that the government used the cure as a weapon against mutants but at the end of the movie they were like, "Okay, everything's peachy!". What got resolved that I missed? Was Beast's new position in the government supposed to assure us that this problem was over?

- Rogue going on about not being able to touch her boyfriend was all well and good but wasn't she touching Colossus in the opening danger room scene (she had his powers for a moment there)? He seemed fine, so what's the problem? Kinda undermines the validity of her issue.

- The Iceman vs Pyro fight was cool but it was also kinda silly. As previously mentioned Pyro doesn't produce fire, he controls it. During his battle you can see various fire burning all round Iceman - Pyro could have easily redirected one of the those to hit Iceman instead of just concentrating on the DBZ beam fight. Still, this kind of power misuse is more an issue of the comics then the movie so I guess it's consistant.

even if one is a comic book fan, its really hard not to like the movie... unless you're a freakin fanboi shouting "JUGGERNAUT IS NOT A MUTANT DUMBASS", "WHERE IS GAMBIT!!!" and "TRASK ISNT BLACK" during the movie.

apparently in another dimension psylocke has those powers of cloaking herself into the background, and that outfit.
also in another dimension multiple man is a villain for the brotherhood.

damn dimensions. the plot always gets messed up completely in marvel and dc to keep the fans interested. and ultimate? they better keep that tidy. i dunno maybe im just happier if they killed characters and they stayed dead. and they killed everyone.
