The clip of Sailor Moon was playing on a TV for about a milisecond before it was switched to the news or something.

I'll probably watch it this weekend.
I remember watching the original. The priest approaching one of the alien vehicles, bible in hand and reciting Psalm 23 (and then promptly fried by one of the alien death rays) was one of the stupidest things I had ever seen.

one thing i didn't also quite get was why did they kill people so quickly in the beginning, in a probably painless and human fashion, but then starts to brutally suck the juice out of people in the end? Run out of fuel?
