I read a spoiler free faq before starting FFXII so I knew what chests to avoid. Tried the henne mines crap shoot to try and get another but no joy. Did manage to get a brave suit and excalibur, which IMO was the most useful weapon for levelling up, but ironically i didn't get it, or rather I didn't realise about the whole zoneing/respawning technique until AFTER killing Yiazmat! Accidentally got my 2nd fomalhaut and spent a few hours getting my only ribbon from cerobi steppe... pretty useless in the long run though...

yes i used reverse, but not decoy, i just did everyone's gambits as arise, reverse, attack! OM hits you with beserk so I was more than happy to let him

The funny thing about FFXII was that something like 40% of the enemies were undead? That caused two problems, first was that the 2 Yagyu Darkblades I stole were practically useless (Poor Ashe). Second of all, it made the most useful levelling item store bought (Holy Lance). You should go to almost any dungeon and clean house with just that weapon and level up like mad.

Since when did you have a gf Gun? I always thought you had flavours of the year.

damn game is so big it's easy to miss stuff!

You know what made 200 hours fun? I played with three characters till they got lv99 then started the other three!

Did you say flavour of the rear?

Yagyu Darkblade was the best ninja blade in the game, and I stole two of them off the rare spawn. Too bad almost all enemies regen to dark damage.

nnng, bloody rare game, i killed the one that gave scarletite without realising then had to go tortoise hunting for an hour.

Would have like one of those darkblades for yiazmat, and funnily enough used Orochi not masamune for the combo kill...

would you like milk or random object to insert?

I got pretty fed up when I had to go hunt marks in the crystal, so I never got to Yizmat.

How about cream? I feel like we should do something luxurious.

Yiazmat is good fun, u can do it without a high level!

Doesn't matter, I lent my FFXII out anyways, the ending itself made me not want to play it anymore. I kinda want to try Revnant Wings though. I heard the whole cast is in it.

Forget tied up, how about a bath?

As long as it doesn't involve hepatitis I'm good.

The ending was okay, better than most FF's, but not as good as VIII.

I heard 8's ending was good and 8 is the one I didn't play! Just can't go back to those blocky graphics!!!

Herpes is for life, I've rejected so many girls due to fear of herpes.

Yeah, you can't go back now, I would say just look it up on Youtube, but without playing it, it's meaningless.

I found FFXII's final battle to be confusing and dumb. The lack of a life bar made me wonder if I was actually damaging the boss throughout the entire fight - that is right until he died (I was like ohhhhh...). I guess that's what happens when your final battle is preceded by boss/marks who love paling and other antidamage fields.

And I wasn't overly impressed with XII's ending - it was okay at best. Course the only FF ending I've ever really liked was X's and even that got kind of warped by FFX-2.

I may just have to fill up the bestiary. Is this why my friend is STILL playing FFXI?... imagine a never ending rpg.... yikes

herpes is for life, and lots of people have it from just kissing! And most will live... don't let those genital warts bother you either. That's for life too, coming up from time to time, but easily removed with cream! Ok, AW will donkey punch, then I'll infect...

OK i played a bit of FFXII, got a few questions:

1 - Can i just forget about Vaan and use 3 characters that i like and stick with them, or i'll need to use him in certain sections?

2 - can i sell the loot i get from monsters or i'll need it to make upgrades or whatever?

1. You can get rid of Vaan later, but he'll always show up in town as your lead character, but as soon as you leave it'll switch back to your team.

2. You can sell the loot, the rare drops don't really show up til later in the game anyways, I usually just keep like 10 of everything on me.
