Liked the robots, hated the humans part. REALLY loathe the Transformers home visit and the stupid interrogation scenes in both the car and the room. Why should I give two shits about the lame humans? Gimme more interaction of the Autobots and Decepticons, not some lame scene of a dipshit teenager trying to hide 30 foot robots from his parents!

I think you're not detecting my sarcasm, but she is clearly meant to be portrayed as very young.

I'm not watching it.
How did you come to that conclusion without even seing it?
Some movies does not need the help of Nostradamus to be spotted as shameless cowmilking shit.

I outgrew Transformers and was way more interested in things like the fourth Die Hard movie, so no loss for me.
And watching John Mc Clane singlehandledly owning a terro legion while going thru more punishment than anyone can ever take is way more fun.

Like many posters in this thread I lost my love of Transformers a long time ago but even as a normal sci-fi movie I found TF to be pretty weak. There were too many subplots (ie. army guys, hacking people) that were pointless and watered down what little story the movie had. The transformers had little to no personality and zero character development - they were essentially background trappings for the entire movie. And the Decepticons didn't even really have any presence until the end, at which point they had a single line identifying themselves before being summarily dispatched.

Oh, and the ending's sequel friendly line of "To any Autobots out there in the galaxy - please join us on our new home of Earth!" should have included "and bring a better plot".
