Presentation seems very solid, much moreso than the original. With the plethora of characters, balance might not be in the cards, but who knows. '98 UM had a lot of characters, and despite Krauser/Iori dominating, a lot of the cast can do well - so let's hope this happens here too.

Here's what I want for 2k2UM:
- 99 sliding (sliding is awesome!)
- 2k Counter and Armor mode
- Strikers!
- Kyo gets his old

+K from KOF 99 (and the D version)

And an arcade port but wayyyyyyyyy after XII is out so the market won't get saturated with two KOFs at the same time and sealing XII's business.

I'm pretty sure that they already said they aren't going to do strikers.

News of this game has pretty much killed any interest I had in 98UM. Is that wrong?

Yeah, except the Raiohken, she suprisngly has new voice samples. Haven't heard anyone else from the vids with new samples aside from her (and obviously, Nameless)
