One of the last few characters to make it to the somewhat small roster. Not sure if it's a good thing...having seen so many characters having their moves/dms trimmed, Duolon looks to play a bit differently....

Pretty decent DL user..

Here are my observations:

- has a weird Dhalshim like far Stand A.
- down A is seen to connect with down D (even at a distance)
- down D seems to come up pretty fast.
- I have yet to see his palm combo, let alone his ghost dm =\
- funny leg ground poke is still in the game.
- teleport looks more like a command roll, if anything. So slow it feels almost like Shingo's command roll (97/98) but just slightly better
- DM is a ranbu, looks awfully slow to start up, travels a bit across the screen. and he does some ghost explosion if connects.
- Jump D, down A x 3-4, stand A combos.
- qcf punch x 3, there seems to be a delay in on the 2nd hit: doesnt seem like you can control when each of the 3 hit-chain comes out.

oh well, that's all for now.

I can't remember exactly what video but I did see him do a DM where his ghosts came out of the ground like an anti air. looked very cool, his old ghost DM new animation i suppose

haven't seen his ghost projectile or his genei jin DMs

f+B (can be done in mid-air)
- from other impressions it seems that this is his foot stab

Special Moves:
QCF+K
* forward teleport
QCB+K
* backward teleport
f+A (can be done in mid-air - this is a special move?)
* this is the long-range poke he has
QCF+Cx2 after close C
* I'm guessing this is what remains of his chain moves :(

DMs:
QCB,HCF+P - ground dash DM

Man...did he get eviscerated or what?

Combos:
c.B(x2), c.A, f+A (xx DM if you want)

Is this definitely the final move list? Because it seems really strange that Ash and Shen would keep their LDMs but Duo wouldn't (not to mention any of his other DMs for that matter)

Yeah, that's all DL has. His stretchy long poke is f+A. He also has a stretchy long kick which is his f+B. Both can be done in air.

Some combos...

Low C anti-air counter -> qcf+K /AB -> Low C
Low B -> Low A -> f+A -> qcb,hcf+P (may miss if too far)

Even if that's the only super he has, he still looks very strong to me from vids I've seen so far. He has great range on normals and seems to do pretty good damage.

Correction, his f+B is his shadow kick thingy.

Tried him out today. Very pokey-pokey character. Plays like a Chinese zombie ninja version of Dhalsim. But I don't intend to play him much unfortunately, so I won't post much about him (had bad experiences in 2k3 and XI)

His extra normal is f+D which is a totally new animation. It works like Ryo's old far D.

His DM go under projectile, I went under Ash fireball and maybe another one but cant remember.

After watching more vids it seems DL's gotten extremely Dhalsimy. How exactly does the f-B work now? On the ground it looks like it homes in on the opponent, but what is it in the air? Just a big stretchy kick? I really don't know what to make of the new Duo.

Yeah, the f+B on the ground has some sort of homing properties (follows the opponent when he does that). In the air, iirc it's more like a diagonal stretchy kick.

Something strange I noticed about his s.C, qcf+Cx2 is even if you whiff the s.C completely, you can cancel into the qcf+Cs...haven't found any practical usage for it yet, but I'll find one.

sucks that his rekka is a SP follow up.. but nice to see he can link his DM after f+A.. I love the XI-Doulon, I think the XII-Doulon will be fun.

rekkas cancel to forward teleport so you can do this combo:
C qcf+C x 2 > qcf+B > c.A

sounds good..

does the teleport work after a blocked rekka like in previous KoFs?
