I don't really like the term racism I prefer Culturalist instead since I like all girls of all skin colors and that it's usually a culture like arcade-culture or the current culture hiphop is promoting.

Anyways, I think having a Japanese gf totally made me 'racist' to Korean and Chinese culture. She doesn't try to like brainwash me or anything. It's usually like, "whattttttt???? Hey hey! Look at this weird crap." She'll nudge me and show me a link or something with like a youtube vid of China spray painting hills green, or links with a lot of dead or mutated animals, or sometimes even a song with Jackie Chan singing to a background tune of a pop 1990's japanese song. I try not to be negative towards anyone and I find myself usually upset at the Chinese gov't or South Korean gov't where schools have children make paintings of japan where violence is encouraged with pictures of bombs flying into a rising sun flag.

I try to consciously not be Ethno-centric minded but what can I do? I'm definitely a patriot by all definitions and I like when my nation of birth is shown in a good light.

Asians all have beef with one another. It's best to keep a neutral stance on it mainly because 50% of what everyone says about each other after some simple fact checking is true.

If there's something else I know, it's that all East Asians know how to hold a grudge, which is why all this crap still matters to them.

Well there's definitely some beef between a minority of Japanese and Chinese citizens but clearly they don't represent how the whole country feels as a whole. But yeah a lot of people rip into China because there's just too many people and there's a higher chance of them doing "dumb shit".

Problem is they duke it out through the internet and there's bound to be "sheeps" that follow. This Diaoyu Island incident being a good example people should arguing and just chill out ... play some mahjong :) (HK rules of course hahaha)

If I may parrot what's already been pointed out, yeah those wacky asians hold grudges longer and harder than Ron Jeremy in the 1980's. The funny thing is that, even as they slag each other's cultures, they're also busy ripping off their favorite parts of said cultures without batting an eyelash. Granted, I haven't been to China, but I can say from firsthand experience that in South Korea and in Japan I have seen a bewildering amount of stuff that makes me shake my heead and say, "Oh Japan/Korea, you so crazy."

I have more explicit examples, but I'm at work and I'm totally being irresponsible right now. Back to the grindstone!

I had an interesting conversation with my cousin from China yesterday ... I linked them to a Japanese song and she started saying how all Japanese are abnormal and said she'd be against me if I had a Japanese girlfriend ... bitter over WWII much? I think she's been brainwashed to the point of no return :(
