Garou: MotW PS2 Version - video footage by me
Did a quick search: Is there no Garou:MotW for PS2 thread anywhere?
Some well hidden post can be found on the old board but I guess it deserves a new one.
Especially because I captured some video impressions of the game.
PS2 Port seems to be VERY nice! Despite most of the other (KoF) ports and stuff they didn't screw up this one for once.
Enjoy the videos:

Link seems to be broken.
EDIT: It works now, wtf.
VERY good port, by the looks of it. Nice interface, not many graphical changes (not like the game needed them anyway), and the sound bug from the DC version is gone. Speaking of sound, they're using the DC version's resampled tracks, which is a plus.
Thanks for the vids, Blastrezz. I'll move this over to the SNK Classics forum when we get around to moving it here.

Those menus look beautiful compared to the DC's old ones. You captured the music in stereo too, it's pretty good.
SS, what this sound glitch you speak of? I don't recall one in the DC.
The only thing i can't tell from these videos is how smooth the game plays during intensive battles. Also the response time on the controllers.
I wish more game systems worked off such solid arcade platforms like Naomi.
Thanks for the vids.

I am NO Garou Player now and thus by far no expert but I played it some time in the past and from what I see/feel the gameplay is perfectly transfered from Neo Geo original. Whether that's a good or bad, you decidectrl+awesome wrote:The only thing i can't tell from these videos is how smooth the game plays during intensive battles. Me personally, I don't like Garou:MotW's feeling all too much and all in all it's not quite my favorite game.
Still, the portation from Neo Geo to PS2 seems perfectly done!
