Is the difference between orochi leona and regular leona just purely cosmetic? Well that and the O. Leonas run and spped. Anyways ive never played her ever so shes a totally new char to me.

Anyone have any strats?


Seems that chargeball is good on wake ups, but dont know how safe it is. Also, if i do a charge ball and i goover the down opponent, do they get up back turned? How safe is chargeball?

c.B- all around good poke

far D- looks slower than 98 version, but goes over fireballs?

j.C or j.D for air to air?


P.S. why does POWed j.D, V-Slasher take off 90 % ?

O. Leona is much more than cosmetic changes.

Damage has been increased dramatically, so does the speed. However, also the damage taken is increased a lot.

For Air 2 Air, jump and air grab has been always the best weapon of Leona, specially in her O. version. However, you gotta get used to her speed to time it properly.

All and all, use speed at yoru advantage, but try not to think in playing like the regular Leona due of her astonishing speed. Sometimes it's hard to land well tiems jump-to-land attacks, so yeh, learn to phase the speed and juping attacks.

Do not, i repeat, do NOT use qcb P at all, that move is shit and worse, that leaves you open to get one of the nastiest bugs of KOF '97.

does she not have f+B?

if not does she have an overhead?


does her close s.D combo of either hit or onnly the first one. And finally can someone list some combos.

She doesn't have fB.

And no, her close D only hit once.

I'll list here some combos with her.


- Jump C/D, dB, dA x2, d u A.
- Jump C/D, dC, d u A.
- b fD, d u C.
- Jump C, cD(1 hit), b fB, d u C, b f B (hits OTG)
- b f A, jump qcf, qcb C DM (or jump CD if no stock).
- Jump C, dA, qcf x 2 P (need good control skils)
