Thanks you so much Vice. Quick question what characters are mainly used?? and what odd ball characters are used??
My team is O Yashiro, O. Leona, Benimaru/joe. Im starting to play KOF 97 since i have orochi collection for PS2.
P.S. do you hane any strats for the chars. i use (especially 97 O yashiro).
Hmm maybe i should make a strat thread.???

Go ahead in the strat thread. I'm sure many ol'schoolers would help.
In GZ they use a lot of tiers: Robert, Beni, Mary, a lot of Kyo's. But matches are really with nice quality and lots of WTF moments.
KOF '97 was much better gameplay wise than '96 but still was having serious problems of balance, the breach from the perfection reached in '98 and '97 lass lesser than '96, yet still a big gap. Many charas were just too broken as was easy to abuse bugs (Mary's grabs coming from snatch

Hmm ill guess ill just make a strat thread for each character? Robert was pretty solid in 97.
Any orochi characters being played....like orochi shermie?? Yeah i know 98 is better but i like 97 and love the presentation. Although it is broke its still fun. Odd that there is so little info on it though.

Meh...most of the match vids for kof 97 that ive found on youtube arent very good.
