During the years we've had various issues with membership, mostly with bots. We do get new members but they usually prefer to lurk.

We were fending them off lately quite well even though the captcha has been defeated.

Until a few days ago where ON seems to have become popular with some search engine and now I'm suddenly getting 20 bot made registrations a day

I finally got fed up and disabled new accounts.

Almost immediately I have been sent requests by email by real people who want accounts! And one has already admitted that he is probably not even going to post!

Heh, I think an ON account just became one of those things that ppl want to have but never use Still, I think we should be proud!

You should just make the forums private since that's how it's always been these years. I mean seriously, other than us, what do FUCKIN lurkers actually find interesting on these forums? The only reason we're all still here is because we all know each other well already.

Making it private might also make a certain someone stop advertising his FUCKIN shit which no one gives a FUCK about.

No offense but I really think that this place is a place for old friends to hang out than an actual KOF forum. Branding the KOF name onto the forums feels kind of like an insult to the FUCKIN franchise since 80% of the forum is about something else, like sleeping at gay bars or talking about anime girls.
