Anyone seen this show? Just watched the first season. Found it unexpectedly entertaining.

I like this show so far and am pleased that they didn't take the 'cape wearning Captain So-and-So' direction I feared. So far the show is mostly about people and their problems - it just happens that they also have super powers. I'm not sure where they can ultimately take this series (hopefully not to the Hiro Hall of Justice) but so far it's been fun.
It is kinda dumb that the narrator keeps going on about people with powers being spread across the world when aside from a Japanese guy and an Indian boy all the 'heroes' are American.

They just started showing this in Australia, just saw the first episode. It's kinda cliched but I like it. That Claire girl is cute. Still not sure what everyone's power is yet. It appears to me like Niki has some sort of Stand-like power that kills for her. Along with Hiro (possibly named after JoJo's Bizarre Adventure creator Hirohiko Araki), and his Dio powers, this series seems to be inspired heavily by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
Indian boy? Isn't he just a scientist researching the heroes? Unless this is explained later, no spoilers plz.Apathy Wind wrote: It is kinda dumb that the narrator keeps going on about people with powers being spread across the world when aside from a Japanese guy and an Indian boy all the 'heroes' are American.
