Looking at what I posted earlier I think I was a little too optimistic about ze Germans.

And Holland may have the quality to win it all.

Too bad Portugal vs Germany and Italy vs Spain will be on those days where I'll have to go to work tomorrow.

Wow Russia. I guess that the money reward for qualification was enough to boost them.

Boulahrouz's daughter has died.

Tragic. Some people say he will be back to play more games at EURO if possible, but he will never be the same again. My condolences to Khalid and his family, and I hope this doesn't affect the Dutch, since they are going so well this tournament. Coupled with Domenech's proposal, this tournament is becoming known more for events that happen off the pitch, which is a shame. Let's hope for more football goodness and less tragedy.

wow, what a game by Turkey yet again. first scoring 3 goals in 15 mins to come from behind and beat the Czech Republic to get into the quarter-finals. now in the quarter-final they go behind in the 119th minute, then score in the last minute of the game and win on penalties. this just might be their tournament. everything just seems to be falling into place for the turkish. turkey = greece of '08 except exciting?

May Germans be warned. Do not count out the turks until the referee does the final whistle.

Some said that Netherlands came to the match, expecting a victory, while Russia decided to play it like it is their final match. This is another upset victory from russkofs. This euro seems to be the euro of the underdogs.

Hiddink is a genius. He's proved it yet again.

And Holland are chokers. They've proved it yet again.

Turkey only has 14 players in total left. I want to keep my hopes up but all the most important players are gone, we'll bring a b team to the table and won't have tactical options on the bench.
And i can confirm..The Netherlands grew arrogant like we also do. The same story as always, amongst the most talented sides but underperforming. After the first two matches the heads got big again.
