I seriously doubt "Chutes and Ladders" and "Candyland" is what's he's talking about.Apathy Wind wrote:Persona wrote: Oh ya, all those awesome american board games that you see at Toys R' Us.

Toys R Us - it was the mecca of toy stores! Mum had to take you on a bus there! They had all the latest toys and exclusives like footlocker!
Damn, I wanted Raphael of TMNT so bad, ended up with some chinese rip off coz I was so poor
A few years later I achieved r3vs dream and got a genesis/megadrive and owned a total of ONE Game at all times - I kept part exchanging at the 2nd hand shop
Hi BP!
I wanted SF2 for the Megadrive so much I bugged my chinese friend on the phone every night when his aunt went to HK to find out if she had bought it (the game wasn't even out yet)

As a youngin, going to Toys R Us was just to tease me. They would get toys for my sister/nephew/niece/anyone but me/, and if I was lucky, I would get to see the video game section. Sadness. So much sadness. Footlocker was pretty much the same deal.Gunsmith wrote:Toys R Us - it was the mecca of toy stores! Mum had to take you on a bus there! I had Leonardo, but that's because saw someone left their precious toy on the bus.Damn, I wanted Raphael of TMNT so bad, ended up with some chinese rip off coz I was so poor
I got my Genesis from a thrift store for 15 bones. All I have that's worth a damn is Castlevania: Bloodlines. Damn flea markets aren't gold mines anymore around here. I personally blame the Russians.A few years later I achieved r3vs dream and got a genesis/megadrive and owned a total of ONE Game at all times - I kept part exchanging at the 2nd hand shop

There were alot of weird yet interesting ones like Dungeons and Dragons and all those RPG type ones. Loved the RPG type ones cuz it's pretty technical but simple games are also nice. There was a horror board game where you follow the game by watching a video (of course using a board too). There were different series to what the person in the video dressed up as, like a vampire, werewolf, etc. Was pretty scary back in the day. Anyone remembers the name of the game?Apathy Wind wrote:Persona wrote: Oh ya, all those awesome american board games that you see at Toys R' Us.

I had always wanted to have sex with the slut milf neighbour from across the streets. She always walked arund in cut off jeans and a top, sitting on mens laps and touching and grabbing everybody.
Now i know enough to know her aging vessel is most likely a disease invested tunnel wide enough to drive a fleet of trucks through side by side.

Hell, most of the ones I liked in HS are either dykin', obese, diseased, or have several kids by different men (or a disturbing mix of 2 or 3 of these). A few gems in the garbage though.International Bastard wrote:I had always wanted to have sex with the slut milf neighbour from across the streets. I was a Michaelangelo user. Any Donatello fanboy around so we can make the whole team?Shiny wrote:I had Leonardo, but that's because saw someone left their precious toy on the bus.Gunsmith wrote:Damn, I wanted Raphael of TMNT so bad, ended up with some chinese rip off coz I was so poor
