;D~~~~~~~~~~~~ It looks like Votoms is going to return, the fact that the old staff is going to have a hand in this is completely amazing. xmad I wonder if K' is going to cameo on this xmad

So, to quote youtube : "no pacifist bishie, no Ioli, no singer acting self important... just plain old good hot blooded mecha action". wow

Genshiken also returned already, but with only one manga chapter available it seems that the quality of the series has somehow dropped a little.

Dragon Ball is also scheduled to return shortly, but I don care.

That particular thing was limited to the first episode, but well, let's just say the themes do frequently push the boundaries of good taste. I didn't call it guilty for nothing. :P

Panty and Stocking is totally Adult Swim caliber. I wonder if it'll ever get picked up there.

TWGOK has been as entertaining as the manga to me. Eruse (or whichever way you'd spell her name) especially.

I think this fall season is a good season for comedies in general. Nearly all of them are funny to me in some way or the other; especially Arakawa 2 and Ika Musume

Has anyone been watching the Ironman anime?

They move on to semen, vomit, and mucus jokes. And many, many more sex jokes.

it was cool, but didn't have any humour or backstory. Just kill after kill. Cool if you like that sort of thing, but not for me.

So after a few weeks so far my top choices this season are Bakuman and Kuragehime (aka Princess Jellyfish). Bakuman I mentioned before, and my opinion of it hasn't changed.

As for Kuragehime, imagine a female version of Genshiken, but instead of anime and games they obsess over a more diverse set of hobbies. Outside of that I don't want to give away too much. I will say that one of the characters can be a little annoying, but overall it didn't really bother me since they're supposed to be an awkward bunch.

GTO has aged poorly for me, shame. I used to enjoy it so. zzz

I watched about 17 episodes of Golgo before stopping, entertaining but 0 character development. Might pick it back up later.

My girl and I love Panty and Stocking though, hilarious stuff. I'd like to see an anime dubbed, for once. .360 .P

Starship Troopers had an anime made back in 88'. Really different from the movie. I'm on ep 5/6 and it just explains what it's like to go from a recruit to a hero imo. Nothing life-changing or anything like that but it's still entertaining.

Despite hating maids I grudgingly checked the latest Shaft anime, Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru, and unlike the other times with Princess DickGirl and Naked Loli Vampire I lucked out: it's not about maids at all, and what little there is of the stereotype is mostly subverted. Nothing ground-breaking but it has some of that sweet classy humour that makes Shaft anime worthwhile.

Started watching ZZ gundam because there's no manly shows to watch at all it seems. Tried watching paranoia agent and other shows that I could stream for free but I think I'm tired of post 90s anime. I wish Gintama was back.

I've been watching Monster just so could I kick sand in Style's face for saying it's a Death-Note-beater.

It's not bad, it's not Death Note level as yet but it does well enough to keep me watching. It's almost like watching TV, as in a long drawn out adventure to track down a killer, just without boobs and demons and exploding heads. I'm on episode 15...

Start building that sand castle yamap
