It's the only show I watched this season, but I agree that the second half of Durarara! felt a bit flat compared to the first half. Probably because
the twist that Mikado is actually the leader of the Dollars kind of came out of nowhere, and there wasn't really anything in the second half that matched that. That and I suppose the fact that Celty was the focus of the main arc helped a lot.
How's the rest of the unadapted material from the novels?

I suppose at this point I'll just go back to Hulu and finish watching Baccano! and Darker than Black.

highschool of the dead : the delicacy of a zombie apocalypse meets gross hentai characters - who are the real monsters? Some deep themes going on!

Just finished Angel Beats- it gets silly/stupid at times, but overall I liked it.

I think I'm about to hit that point in durarara :/

Did I say I quite enjoyed Eva 1.11? As a movie, it's really good, takes the best bits from the series and keeps the pace up with some matter of fact explanations to stop you guessing, ruining the mystery of it all. Now I've just to get round to watching 2.22

Someone actually told me I might like seikon-no-qwaiser. I checked it out to find it's a semi h series about a guy who gains power to fight demons through drinking breast milk.

I did a double take, not because of the plot, but it was recommended to me by a girl. She said she got bored of it. Jesus.

I guess she's awesome.

And yes, the series is total shit but I suppose it satisfies the mind of a young male in one fell swoop: suck boob, kill demon, then suck more boob.

I've been watching that samurai thing, just to be elitist. The girl mentioned above found it boring. I found it interesting, and appreciated the protagonist's dilemma. Thus, she's not awesome at all. Tut, I remember she likes Naruto. Tut tut. I'M MORE MATURE THAN HER, OBVIOUSLY, WITH MY TASTE IN MATURE INTERESTING ANIME THAT IS NOT FOR KIDS. HAAAAA SHE SUCKS

so annoyed by HOTD, it'd be a goodish zombie series if it wasn't for half episodes full of gross ecchi

GITS? For some reason, this year has made me not to expect anything good. But i'll definitely watch this, been a long time coming!

Watching to numb the brain:
To Aru Majutsu no Index (generic hero slightly humourous fare)
kuroshitsuji (generic yaoi/rozen maiden)

Watching when I can't be arsed to play a game:
Arakawa Under the Bridge (trying to be fubar)
House of Five leaves (drama)

Still have to finish but may not:
Trapeze
Seitokai no Ichizon
Durarara

Probably the only thing I'm actually enjoying is
The Tatami Galaxy

Oh and I'm surprised the anime world hasn't jumped all over Seitokai Yakuin Domo. Perhaps because it has the most ridiculous plot with impossible female characters (well, after rethinking this, not really, but the lead certainly goes against the grain, which can only be a good thing) , leading to awful puns on losing virginity that really only work in Japanese. While my intellect says NO my idiot manhood says YES! It doesn't contain any ecchi scenes, but I suspect it'll get very close...

Tatami Galaxy is beautiful. I don't think I've ever been disappointed in any of Masaaki Yuasa's anime, might as well ditch everything else and watch only his stuff and maybe something from Shaft when the source material is not despicably retarded.

This was the most recent anime I watched in full. Guess this does cater to my SMT obsession as of late. XD

Lately because I've been backing up old VHS tapes of anime into digital files, I'm rewatching a bunch of old stuff I haven't seen in a long long time. Psycho Diver was a treat to see again :3

omg, did you like it? I posted about it here and everyone ignored it! (or at least didn't bother to reply).

Personally, I thought it was awful and stopped watching after 8 eps. My gf wanted to keep going though but only if we watched it together, on her own would rather use the time to watch Fringe or Law and Order or some other cop shlock.

I watched the full thing. I thought it was good but it finished with one of those typical anime WTF just happened endings.
It was kinda depressing too.
