Hi, it's me again. Long time member, scarce reader of this thread.

What's this about Haruhi S2?

More Zetsubou?

Which one of these new animes will entertain me? I am in need of a distraction post haste.

Zetsubou, undoubtedly.

Just watch episodes 1 and 2 of S2 Haruhi and skip the rest until the whole deal with Endless (and it does seem endless) Eight ends. They're all just repeats of episode 2 but with very subtle differences.

If you liked FMA, watch the new season, Brotherhood as well. Follows the manga more than the 1st series.

I thought FMA brotherhood was so-so until halfway through (and we're two eps in). Things were happening too fast in the first part.

Still I'm following it just for the sake that I personally prefer the manga's original story and want to see it animated.

Oh and Lan Fan is cute.

Yo Shiny iirc you asked me about Michiko to Hatchin -
I really liked it, the pace is a bit slowish but i find it deliberate because of the South American fictional country thing. You know saudade and stuff. Fascinating.

I watched the first ep of the new FMA on Youtube, and I'm trying to figure out where it picks up in the timeline - looks like it's before Ed and Al go to Lior for the first time?

(And yes, you can actually watch it legally on Youtube, if you're in the US anyway: http://www.youtube.com/show?p=cfjHtZ1gVmw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

The first ep is a prelude, yeah. It doesn't appear in the manga. The second ep starts following the manga itself.

I started to watch Dennou Coil, which is interesting. It looks like a breed of sci-fi but (aside from the sentient beings and overcomplicated "mining" tech) it's probably the most accurate depiction of the near future of cellphone and internet technology that I've seen. Enhanced reality, personal GPS navigation, trivial motion interpretation... this is all real technology right now. And it was produced two years ago? Insane.

Why yes you can has av.

Also I was wrong when it comes to the Haruhi watch count: Watch the 1st 3 episodes, then skip until Endless Eight ends.

I'll join the rev too (even though I don't enjoy watching it, I like the artwork). Just give me an av of a character that you think fits me.

I don't think there's anyone that fits you there lol. Closest thing that comes to mind is Rin, Nozumu's sister.

Unless someone else has a better choice of what P is similar to?

I'm not certain I like the new voices in FMA. The colonel sounds very prissy, and Hawkeye far too feminine. I'm sensing a trend here. Maybe Scar will sound like an "Ojou".

Admittedly, I'm fond of Inoue in the role of lust, she does it well, but the former seiyuu was more than satisfactory.

Colonel seems to be voiced by Miki Shinichiro - think you've heard of him several times before. But I really liked his old voice as well, so it was weird to get used to his new voice.

Scar sounds pretty gruff this time around. He's voiced by the same guy who did JP SFIV Zangief.

Yeah, Inoue is juuust perfect for Lust. Her older seiyuu was good, but she was made for the role, IMO.
