The Demon's Souls article was strangely spontaneous, I've been working on an article about English dubbing for about a week now, and I really feel like I can't get my point across without flying off on the wrong tangent.
Either way, I'd like to hear feed back so I can improve my writing.

Re: What's missing?
The reason why blogs + comments work well is that blog posts, are, well, news. Here today, gone tomorrow. Something else to discuss pops up. Things like guides and movelists are better suited for forums because they need to be easily retrieved/searched. Just look at the POT forum. How many of these topics are throwaway? Them just being there day after day makes the forum look stale. Frankly the blog should replace it (if it really takes off).PenPen wrote:I'd wish there's like a sub-forum for our articles. So aside from the comments, people can talk about the article within the forums if they want to go more in depth. But if we're doing that we better start writing more stuff like Oro's Demon Souls article where people can discuss and yell at each other etc.
btw, If you want your avatar to show up in comments, you should sign up for an account at gravatar.com, which automatically displays your avatar whenever you enter your email into a blog comment that supports it. Many do, and that way you don't have to register at a billion blogs, you just enter your email and post without even logging in.
I feel that as Orochinagi has grown, while we may not play KOF so much, our tastes as friends are still very similar. I have lots to say about English dubbing, and I think many people here will also be interested in reading what you (Oro) have to say. As for your writing, I can give feedback, PM will be sent.

Tried to make a gravatar account, but it is acting quite stupid, as it doesn't recognize my username. Bah.

That crazy Gunsmith and his Kotaku like aspiration. I'd like for it to happen really, it'd be nice.

I feel that way as well. It's sad, but unfortunally if we're about to spice up this site again, we gotta start broading our scope.Foxhole wrote:That crazy Gunsmith and his Kotaku like aspiration. I'd like for it to happen really, it'd be nice.
