What do you look for in a character?

Anyway, I look for the cool badass characters. Iori is my faaaaaavorite, but that holds true in other characters too. Xion from Bloody Roar is another example...

Character and story comes first.Second is design.Third is gameplay.

I hate a character with a crappy story or an egoistic,show off or pain in the butt,goody goody or of character.Story likewise is also important,a character who does something stupid in a story like always fighting for a girl or a stupid reason is not my idea of favourite.

Take for instance Yugo from Bloody Roar 4.He is just standing around knowing nothing and hes just aimed to chase Nagi which happens to be one of my favourite female character.Or Alba and Soiree in Mi2 whose competing for a Myrink is superly uberly rediculous.

Characters i like is Sol Badguy and Iori Yagami.They are cool,strong and charismatic,just plain bad ass with their own duty and always something complex and twist about in the character,their story is always trapped in a kind of delimma and confusion,wheres they suffer like crap.Second characters like Faust,Shen Woo,NVNQSR chaos,Warakia,Arucied.. Cute characters and interesting like Jam,Baiken,Emilia Rage.Pysco like Robo KY,Freeman,etc.

Yeah, i go for Insane characters and Weirdos. Their playing style usually matches their look too.

Funny, I'm an anti-tier player all along, yet I have my sins like Kane in 2002.

Charas like Vice (evidently), Ramoncito, Billy Kane, Balrog (Vega), Mature, Dan Hibiki, Anna Williams, Bryan Fury, Dong Hwan, O. Chris, Ryuji Yamazaki, Robert, King, Slayer, Julia Chang, Baiken, Duck King, Juli, Mileena, Rick Stroud, Rob Python and whatnot are my type.

Oh yes, and I'm an anti-loli type charas. So Athenas, Momokos, Kulas, Hinakos and the sort are definitelly no-no's for me.

I like characters that look cool, but more inportantly they should have simple

/qcb/hcb/hcf moves instead of the riduculous 720 moves, the character's fighting style should fit my specific playing style. I don't like losing at the arcades, so I would rather use a dumb looking easy to use character, then a cool looking hard to master character. But it depends how much time I am prepared to spend on the game. Some characters look so cool that I am actually prepared to spend hours and hours to learn to use the char properly.

i choose characters that isn't used by anybody uses! Like in KoF 2003, I play Hinako 'coz players in my town doesn't go fro her! Well in fact, Hinako owns big time!!! I once sweeped a challenger just by using her! and get a perfect on Mukai!!!
