Whoa. Thats some serious damage scaling.
Not as ridiculous as KOF2003 damage scaling.

Kaede is pretty strong here, if a little boring. You can combo into his hcf+K from light attacks, and he seems to be invincible during the startup pause of his hcb+C. And worse, his hcb+P moves have almost no recovery, so you have to GCFS if you want to retaliate.

As nasty Kaede is over here, Moriya is even worse. crouching B twice, qcf+A twice, dp+A,dp+C. Easy to do and painful as heck.

While down B, down A, qcb A(2hits), SC to qcf*2 A is super duper easy and damaging, please *TRY* to work a bit harder for your damage by doing this instead.

Down B, Down A, qcb A(1 hit), qcf*2 C.

First combo does 40% damage but the second one inflicts around 60%.

Opponent near corner, Hcf kick, qcb C, dp A hits.
whoa!! 60%?

hmm, Down B, Down A, qcb A(1 hit), qcb, hcf A works as well. not sure if it does more damage than qcf*2 C.

only reason why people do the 40% damage combo is to trigger the special DA with morriya.

it doesn't....it actually does significantly less damage.

Maybe it isn't such a good idea to reveal the difference in damage....

Last thing I want is a whole phalanx of Kaede users...

edit: Qcf*2 Punch aka ice cream cone has good invincibility. You can use it to go through projectiles, uppercuts, etc.

It's kinda sad that none of Kaede's SDMs made it into NGBC. OK, qcb, hcf+B SDM is CRAP and I wouldn't bother seeing it in here, but qcf, qcf+B is pretty nasty... and cool looking. Kinda evil that his lightsaber DM now uses 2 stocks.

Kaede's QCB, HCF + C super has some invinsibility frames at the start. The computer has used this move a few times on me already and it seems to work quite well. Damage isn't fantastic, but in terms of effectiiveness and strategy, it's got potential.

Both A and C versions are invincible from startup until Kaede touches the tip of his sword to the grouhd.

Hey, it could've been worse. It could've been a human opponent! :D

i think its more embarrassing when people see you lose to the CPU opponent than to a human. Plus it was first round too. And it killed my character...

Even though yours maybe quite embarassing, the most embarassing is to lose to one of those players who mash the buttons and keep turning the joystick in a clockwise motion hoping that by sheer ingenious on their part a technique might be executed

Tell me about it. A long time ago I lost to some kid while playing Marvel Super Heroes who was just mashing the buttons. His luck was absolutely incredible for someone who didn't know how to play the game. He actually had 4 perfect wins against the CPU! Not that MSH's AI was particularly good or anything, but you get my point....

Hasnt happened to me yet thankfully.
