Machine Sightings

I'm surprised that this thread hasn't popped up so I figure we should start one so people know where a machine might be.

In Orlando, FL (woot woot!) near the UCF area there are two KoF XI machines that I've played on.

They are at:

Fashion Square Mall off of US50/Colonel in the Tilt Arcade
Rocky's Replay off of 436/Semoran closest to RedBug Lake

Einstein's Arcade in Austin, TX has one XI machine.

And this should probably be in Marked Men. *pokes PS*
Also, I assume you mean machine locations in the US?

I figured it'd be good to have a thread in here since the game is new and it'd be easy for people to jump to the thread to check on where machines are.

US machine sightings are preferred but I'm going to the philippines soon and any sightings around the Manilla area would be good.

Orbit Amusements, Perth City, Perth, Australia and
Timezone, Northbridge, Perth, Australia

both have machines. Havnt personally tried Timezone, but i believe Derrick has. I hear the ones at TZ have separate screens for each player (you sit on opposite sides). Whereas Orbit is the standard single screen, shared control platform, elbow knocking, odd little screw sticking up near joystick will cut your little finger if you let it stick out, mid-quality picture, set up.

Orbit need to update their equipment. You wont find a nicer bunch of people though. (Its not the equipment that counts but HOW YOU USE IT so my gf tells me, lol, jk)

Went to Australia for holidays, went to Brisbane, Melb, Sydney and Perth
Shitloads of machines in Sydney&Melb. Still remember going to that whore-house lookin arcade center in Melb(near the Chinatown), so many high level players lurking around. You have to que up to play the game... This is the worst arcade center in the whole Aust imo. Smoke as much as u like, oily sticks guhh... Sydney's level is about the same as melb, pretty high i guess. There was only one XI machine in Brisbane, cant remember the name. Fought a very good eiji/king/gato there, lots and lots of bare-chested,fake-tanned,razored eyebrows Japanese ppl(male) in Brisbane. No wonder Jin Kazama went to Brisbane to train Karate lol. Last but not least, Perth, my oh my.... I dunno what to say? Pls give some love 2 this game! Went to that dark, space themed, decent amusement in Perth... and i was the ONLY one there, no wait.. there was one guy playing time crisis 3 but thats about it!! Mayb i went there at the wrong time?? Also went to the chinatown's arcade... the arcade center was much more popular than the other one in the city... Same scenario, no one touches the machine and i went there three times!!! I guess Perth players has no love for this game :-P Decided to play T5DR instead and fought a good anna player lolz...

Eiji/King/Gato doesn't ring a bell. One of the better players occassionally has both Gato and Eiji on his team, but I haven't seen a King in over a month.

This is Whitehouse.

If you want competition in T5:DR go to Timeout in Box Hill on Tuesdays. It's 2 games for the price of one on Tuesdays, and the same group always gather to play DR, and they're bloody freaks. I have T5 on PS2 and play it heaps, and these guys raped me. No one play KOF XI tho, they all play 2002.

...I thought this thread was for XI machine locations?

If you want to make an Aussie players thread do it in Marked Men.

I've never actually quite figured out why machine locations should be in Marked Men, other than the vague "locality" argument. I'll let this stay here until I can see a compelling reason not to.

That said though, like SS said - if this topic drifts too much into an Aussie player thread, I'll move it into Marked Men.

Keep it on track, gentlemen...

Honolulu, Hawaii... well, more like Pearl City, Hawaii

At Pearlridge Uptown Tilt. 2 tokens (50 cents). They actually took a module out of their old horse racing game and converted it to an XI machine. Amazingly, this custom-made cabinet is well done, except for the fact that the joysticks are FREAKIN' LOOSE and the start button is WAY too close to the stick.

Wow Iie, the one near me also has that horse game turned into KoF XI. I was wondering if anyone was actually around the Orlando area, that posts here PM me.
