No other code to unlock him.

- multi-kick move looks like it's still a command move. dBx2, +D, Cuttah DM might be a combo?
- is it just me or is his God Press unblockable? o_O Also, it doesn't push the opponent all the way to the other side of the screen any more,

Wow.... nice... it seems that some of Adel's animations are slowed down a bit... Wait a minute, why are they clad in gold?.. i that the same Gold/Flashing thing from NGBC?

Yes, it's unblockable. But I think he has two versions of the move. The unblockable version is pretty slow. I've seen him do a faster version, which may be blockable, but I don't know, because I never got hit by it.

It seems that te unblockable version has a really slow startup. He also had this unblockable version of Giant Press in KOF2k3, but with practically no startup, (and it was corrupted... you could "TO THE WALL" anyone with it infinitely, if you cornered them).

He was finally unlocked over here this week (clueless arcade managers and slack distributers), so a few notes.

* Reuse of animation is terrible. +A, +C and E are 99% identical apart from speed. j.A & j.C are same, as are kicks, etc.

* Jumpin, close C (two hits), b+B (4 hits), +D is the standard combo

* Kaiser Wave can be delayed, properties of projectile don't seem to change. To slow in general to combo into stuff.

* Can't find an unblockable press but there is an overhead press. Sure it isn't being mistaken as unblockable?

* +Start just has Rose walk onto the screen just behind Adel. She stands about like an idiot for a few seconds before walking off. No hitbox at all, so just an ubertaunt.

* Both LDM motions are God Press, can't see any difference. Rose walks on and hangs about with a different animation (why couldn't this effort be used to give him actual different attacks)

* He is stupidly limitted on offence and defence. Takes like 30seconds to master him. Makes Neo-Dio look complicated in comparison.

* Reflector is really slow to come out, hangs about forever and has horrid recovery. I could see someone Galatica Phantoming it on reaction.

Yeah... I dont really think many of you would enjoy using adel in the long run..... really kinda 1 dimensional

He was kinda fun in 2k3, but he got boring real fast. So I expected him to be like that in XI. Hmm, God Press is now an overhead eh? It was definitely unblockable in 2k3.

He does good damage and his combos take off a lot of the stun meter.

F+B = overhead. Can be comboed from down b.

Down B(up to 3), Qcf D/qcf*2K. D version of super can be DCed but it does LOUSY damage.

LDM does insane damage. I am inclined to believe that it has very good speed and priority too.

Again, NO. Only the A version of God Press is unblockable in 2k3.


So, in exchange for being simplistic (I don't mind, I still like him ), he makes good damage?
