KOF XI Speech and Translations

Ahh... this thread was just waiting to happen.

For me, that is.

To the players of the game, can everyone contribute a bit to this thread? Listing the special entrances and their translations of characters for someone who both DON'T HAVE the machine anywhere near him (GYAHH!!) and don't understand Japanese?

I tried GameFAQs and they don't have a speech guide yet. Can someone show me one?

I'm dying to know Iori vs Kyo, so... please? *Bows*

Considering that, off hand, the people who I know are semi-literate in Japanese on ON are SS, Gojira, Style and me, and I know SS and me don't have access to XI, and that Gojira and Style probably aren't as crazy as me who would fly across America to Texas just to get some KOF action, I think your chances of getting any translations from the ON members any time soon are slim to none.

That was a long run-on sentence.

All I can go by is what I've heard in match videos.

Athena winpose:

Oswald winpose:
"Gotan o itadaketa ka ne?" - no idea -_-

i really shouldn't be throwing guesses on japaneese beyond standard hentai-dialogue but i think he's essentially saying he couldn't avoid kicking your ass or more specifically you the opponent is collateral damage (type person) in oswald's quest to whatever or that the opponent is sort of helpless for picking a fight he couldn't (possibly) win (...type person)

...just guessing
