Hmm actually I might be wrong. I read somewhere that Kong Kuwata voices Duck King...ergh.

Yep, Kong voiced Duck since the Real Bout series; so it's most likely he'd be voicing him for this game.

I dunno, but Oswald to me sounds like either Toshimitsu Arai or Eiji Yano (The latter more possible, since he's already voicing Kensou in the game...and he's got a knack for diverse roles)

Also, it appears the Buriki/Kizuna characters don't have endings, just some artwork with the name of the game they're from.

I have a couple of questions about Shion, the first one involves my feelings so please be gentle.
From the game what impression do you get, Shion is a man or a woman?
And do you think that s(he) might be a playable character as well?

I'm pretty sure Shion is a girl - Since there's already another female character I know by the name of Shion (from Xenosaga), I'm inclined to think of it as a female name.

I doubt she's a playable character - her invisible, full screen fireball is the first thing that comes to mind that can be abused should she be.

Yeah, Shion is a girl - her profile in the mook even had a field for 3-sizes (although next to that it did say "unknown"

Eh... it is the tradition of SNK(P) to put "unknown" for the vital statistics of male characters...

Official site has an update with the mid-boss profiles being released. Also, Adelheid and Rose' story is also out, although it's in Japanese.
