The dubbers who got and showed the YuYu anime here changed most of the characters names into "more acceptable" names in their opinion... I think Botan was named "Cherlyn" here...

Having finally managed to play the game today (for a few minutes, but still), I'm quite impressed. The game looks quite nice, with nice backgrounds, GUI and effects. In fact, it makes the NeoWave sitting right next to it here seem even more drab in comparision. Music is awesome, of course. The only things that stick out are the low-res sprites, although they don't look as bad as NeoWave's sprites did due to thoughtful use of anti-aliasing by SNKP.

Controls are good, much better than NeoWave's "WTF I DID A

YOU @#%@#%" controls or 2K3's "WTFNOREDKICK" laggy controls. The game flows quite nicely as well...slower than 2K2 or 2K3, which was probably a good idea.

Looking forward to playing it a lot more.

Yup, Gai Tendou is playable now. Confirmed, saw him in an arcade in Prince Edward, Hong Kong. Didn't have time to play as I was in a rush and was quite late (the arcade was about to close), but seems that his moves might be a-la Angel/MayLee for I could see in such short time.

BTW, only saw a nasty pallette color with green hair, tanned skin, neon orange trousers... meh, who did those horrible colors anyway?

k, I was watching Vishema play single player today and made sure to check the voice actor listings in the credits. Only thing is they don't say who did whose voice! ARGH!

However, I'm pretty sure I've found out who does Oswald's voice, since he's not voicing anyone else in XI. Not Norio Wakamoto (boo hoo), but....Kong Kuwata!

...yes, the same guy who voices Genjuro and....Geese.

Have you checked the secret characters? Just saying because i could see Kuwata doing Silver or even Jyazu.

His name was listed among the first few names on the credits, just below Sounosuke Nagashiro and next to Kouji Suizu, so I think I'm right.

I'll double-check next time I see the credits though.
